I love ME2's gamplay, it's much more fluid this time. I'm already satisfied as far as roleplaying goes, I'm still able to roleplay as Shepard a great deal. Couldn't care less about min maxing.

Oh no doubt, ME2 took care of alot of techical issues in ME1 and the combat gameplay was much more fluid and enjoyale...albeit the powers were a bit disapointing

I disagree. The powers in ME1 felt sloppy and ineffectual. If you combined the ME1 and ME2's level up systems, you might just have a perfect medium.

Soldier, Vanguard, Inflitrator and Sential where alot more fun in ME2.

Are you kidding me? ME2 had hub worlds! The wards, Tunchanka (spelling) Omega and Illuim where all hub worlds where you got missions and you did not fight in. Did you even play ME2?

I already said they were nothing more than "crossroads" to combat driven loyalty and recruitment missions. If you spent more than 10 minutes wandering around the hub worlds of ME2, you were deliberately wasting time. Did you even learn to read?

What, you think because you have to walk around a corner to complete a mission, that makes it a hub world like the citadel?

Following your analogy, you're essentially booing and hating on a team that you used to love because one of your favorite players was traded.

That doesn't make you a fan of the team, that just makes you a fanboy of the player/character.

Followng your stupidity, you completely failed to comprehend my argument and like all ther other butthurtees around here, resorted to trying to dismiss as "hes pissed because Liara aint a squadmate".

Its funny that, because I have her in my sig, you chose to ignore my original statement which as someone pointed out, was about the FEEL of ME2.

Its clear you cant contest opinion, but are too much of a fanboy yourself to let the criticism go unchecked, and resort to ridiculous crud like this to try and contest it.

Thanks for all the insults. As if that actually helped your argument.

Going over the comparison of the 'feel' between the two is beating a dead horse at this point - and so is your pessimism on this forum.

There's no point for you to log into these forums if that's all you are going to do.

ME had only one hub world, it was the citidal and there was still fights there, ME2 changed that. There was hub worlds and combat zones. Better then it was then ME. You would see that if you where not high on ME2 hate.

I'd agree with this, too, yeah. Although I tend not to play characters with "powers" (in fantasy games, I generally don't ever play magic users, in ME, I'm soldier/infiltrator/engineer), so that didn't affect me too much.

I have to say, I have a great sense of nostalgia thinking about the wonderful music on the Citadel presidium.

No point arguing with Dinkamus_Littlelog . He has stated his views enough times to show that he is not going to listen to anyone's else view. There won't be a discussion anymore as he is intending on delivering a one way message about his view point. Every post is roughly the same, so let's move on.

The point is he's a troll and he should just leave these forums and go to the ME ones, we already have Smudboy, Bottomjack, Gabby and Zenexile for our trolls, we don't need more.

I would agree that ME1 had a feeling of scale. I showed my dad who doesn't play video games and could care less the number of land-onable planets. I loved the views on several of those planets, they were just so epic. That said, I prefer ME2 because, when it comes right down to it, I play RPGs for the characters and their stories. If I wanted to play a shooter I'd play CoD or Rainbow Six. The poor combat in ME1 didn't bother me because I wasn't playing it for the combat.

ME2 does everything I want it to. It developed some of my favorite characters further and introduced several new characters, most of whom I love. That's all I ask for in an RPG, and that's what I got. I'm satisfied.

Now that is just me, I can totally understand why others don't like ME2 over ME1.

Yeah, thats right Galateaa, I wont accept your views, just as folks wont accept mine.

Funny isnt it, how Im always defending my posts from ME2 lovers who take offence?

Face it, not everyone liked ME2, and people like me have as much right to come here and voice that view as passionately as others want to voice satisfaction with the game. You dont like it, thats too bad.

Isn't it BusomJack not BottomJack?  And Zennexile is a very quiet troll, I haven't seen him around for a while, not since his 9/11 joke thread thing.

Yet you don't give reasons, you just say its a ****** wannabe shooter. ME3 will have the same combat system no matter what you say, you don't like it then don't buy ME3 and just sell ME2 and play ME. There you go, problem solved and then we have one less troll here.

Beh does not matter, Jack has troll stamped on his forhead and when Zenexile does come here and troll it becomes a nightmare.

Like I said, you might as well leave - because if your dissatisfaction in Mass Effect 2 truly lies in the linear third-person shooter gameplay, then you're going to be even more disappointed when Mass Effect 3 is released.

Ive given you plenty of reasons.

The combat is near constant in ME2. I felt the game had far less areas to take a breath and give it a rest than in ME1. Even the recruitment and loyalty missions which support the games brief main plot are almost always resolved by shooting.

Samara and Thanes loyalty missions were the only two where it didnt require combat. If there were a few more like them, I wouldnt be so eager to complain.

And you keep conviently calling me a troll, all I did was post my views on ME2 vs ME1 in terms of feeling. It was you who started responding and complaining to them. If youve noticed, my ever post since has been a response to people attacking my views. Again, although its easier to try and dismiss with these kind of lies, do I repeatedly post hatred of ME2? No, I give an opinion, usually one that upsets someone like you. And since youre who started making baseless assumptions, dont come crying when you come a cropper for it.

Sorry, Im waiting to see what Christina Norman can come up with when she wants to "improve RPG elements for ME3".

Im also expecting, sinces its the concluding chapter of the trilogy, as much of an emphasis on plot as ME1.

In short, jog on matey, you cant call what ME3 will be, so stop wishing you could.

ME1 had its fair share of shooter focus, which I felt much more able to ignore. In ME2 it wasnt possible.

You dont like me voicing that opinion, tough. Deal with it, or go roleplay EDI some more in another thread or something.

Someone here has a negative view, and is as rude to others as they are to him.

Someone else here is an arrogant snob, who likes to pretend they know it all. They have a default Shepard forum pic.
