Note: The quality for the first one is bad right now. Youtube is processing. When its done it will be in 720p. All sections will be fully uploaded and processed by tonight, so stay tuned.

Which one, the one from back in early 2003-5's or the new one based off the CGI series?

From way back when. It was a tank shooter. The controls, the way the hammerhead moves, the boost and the jump, they all seem nearly identical.

I remember I got mine in a combo pack with tetris for 1 cent at Circuit City. They made some sort of pricing error. Ended up getting Jet Set Radio Future / Sega GT the same way.

Question, when you go to the Cerberus page on this site there is a pic if Shep holding the Arc Projector. Look at it... Have you ever seen the Armor he's wearing?

If you have where how do you get it? B/c I have all but the Inferno Armor and I've never seen this armor or armor pieces.

Lucky, I bought those individually.  Now LA can't seem to get someone to make a good game.

Remember the Hail Fire Droid's awesome ability to be the most powerful?  Hammerhead reminds me of the same control system, but more oriented to drift around into jumps and turns.

It's an upcoming DLC armor. I assumed it would be package with firewalker, but it wasn't. As of right now, we don't have it, but Chris Priestly commented on it somewhere saying essentially "Oh THAT armor? You'll hear about that real soon". Thats all I know about it.

Part 3 / Fighting the Geth

It's called the Hammerhead for a reason, and its not to just sit back and always spam missiles. Ramming speed.

Gatsby, thanks for making another great Video guide. But Ramming them?? Come on that is a plan for death since the hammerhead is a paper tank. Also, I am surprised by the fact you do not have more of the rockets avoiding foe...am I the only one who has watched there rockets move far away at the last second??

Snip points only work if your Auto aiming Missiles decide that the enemies are a better target then the ground or the wall; which on my 10th death now on mission three(Artifact recover) has shown me they feel are larger threats.

Yea that mission is pretty much the most frustrating point in game. Their are a few cheap shots, but I have a feeling its between the 3rd and 4th artifact your having the most trouble? the 4th one is ridiculous with a geth prime there simply tearing your tank apart.

I am stuck getting the second.

Keep dying cause my missiles avoid my enemies. I am on a target and 100 Missiles later, full shields full health and all his buddies are alive. Okay 100 might be going over board but still I think you know what I am talking about.

and there is death number 11...

Try to just get the destroyer from the mineral spot, then boost and jump over the main platform. On the other side, you'll be able to easily kill the troopers, and then just pull a mario and smash the colossus

The problem is my missiles seem to rather hit the ground then a Destroyer or a Colossus or a Geth Trooper. I have watched to many missile hit the ground instead of my enemies even in close range, the missile launcher was bad but I am getting furious at the HammerHead for missing with so called Auto Aim Missiles. I have died more times from the fact that I can not hit what I am at then getting hit myself or landing in the Acid.

Well my first encounter with the geth was dramatic... Who would guess that a few bullets would tear apart the Hammerhead but after a couple of deaths I learned when to maintain a distance. I didn't like the guided missiles as I had the same problems as the other posters in this thread. They were being guided to the ground or to the wall when the target was right there at the side. Moving the Hammerhead around did help a lot of times but one or two occasions I really didn't understand the guiding mechanism. I also must try hammering enemies...

By the way I really liked the maneuverability of the Hammerhead but I don't like the only weapon that comes with it. The overall environments were good but the missions were basically just showing how the Hammerhead works.

@Techo Angel

Try to find a spot at a distance from where you can hit a single target and it can't hit you. I killed a collosus and destroyer that way. Just being way back and spaming missiles. The spot itself can be hard to find due to the guided missiles preferring the ground or wall around the enemy and not the actual enemy.

Did you or anyone else notice the M44 at the beginning of the volcano mission? It's just sitting there under the spawn point and you can't interact with it, any idea what it is? Why it's there?

Well it's an M44 hammerhead. Maybe we're actually looking at the spawn point and they forgot to tell it not to show up?

  Part 4 / Prothean Ruins

Spoiler Free. This mission is pretty simple. Just remember to pick up that biotic damage increase.
