Hey guys.. got a quick question.. Currently at the moment i have the 'standard' DA:O copy pre-orderd threw Gamestop.. i couldnt find a hard-copy of the Collectors Eddition listed anywere on their website.  Well i just snooped around the EA Store.. and found the Collectors Eddition listed there... so im thinking about cancling the pre-order from Gamestop and picking up the EA CE eddition istead.. But.. im kinda wary about ordering it only to find out their 'out' of them.... And as i have 0 experiance ordering directly from EA.. anyone here have the CE eddition orderd threw EA and have used them in the past know weither they'd still have something 'listed' if they ran out of copies?

Most retailers are sold out now. If you really want it, you can't really be picky about getting a physical copy at this point. Nab it if you see it, pretty much.

Hmm whent threw the EA ordering thing... bank shows the money taken out.. but havent gotten any confirmation e-mail... the website isnt updateing to show the order.. and their phone support is aparently closed when its sapose to be open? *frowns* why do i get the feeling i just shot myself in the foot?

The automated e-mail confirmation thinger majigger is probably a bit slow. Give it a bit. Worst case scenario, you should have the bank statement to prove you made the transaction.

Amazon Germany still lists the PC version of the CE as available ... but I doubt that'd help you.

Amazon.ca now has the CE listed, too ($79.99 CDN). Whether they'll actually have any copies is another matter, but they are taking orders if you're interested. Doesn't look like there's any exclusive DLC deals, though, as there are with other retailers.

i ordered my copy through eastore ... when will i recieve my copy? they have to deliver it to toronto canada. do i recieve it on nov 3rd or after? i ordered months ago.

ok.. EA's phone department sucks.. the times listed on the webbie dont match the times the recording says.. and instead of being 7 days a week like the webbie says.. their aparently closed on sundays =D



But.. i did manage to get ahold of a tech on the live-chat... once i found it.... And found out my order is being 'processed' by their Fraud Department first.. THEN it'll get processed the rest of the way... so.. gonna check again tomarrow and see if things go threw all the way. I do have the $ taken out of my accont though.. so nothing else i 'know' the order whent threw.. guess i just whont get any type of e-mail till after the anti-Fraud guys are sure i am who i say i am =D

I went through the same thing you did when I ordered my CE edition from EA. Things went through for me in the end. I'm sure yours will too. Good luck.

woot! got the confirmation E-mail.. hehe only tookem 3 hours.. BUT.. now that i know thats because of their anti-fraud department doing its thing.. im fine *grins* i'd happily wait for a bit for them to do their job than have them NOT do anything and one day find out i have 6billion in dept from some **** that was useing my identity =D. Im just use to the 'instant' e-mails from EB/Gamespot.. so when i got nothing.. i got currious.

yea.. mine still hasnt shown there.. but might just be cause of the 'pre-order' thing? *shrugs* long as i got the confirmation e-mail though i got proof i bought it =D

Newegg, Best Buy, GoGamer, etc.  Lots of places have it, just not necessarily places with preorder bonuses.

Mine is in as an order submitted in my order history on the EA store account. Mind you this is the first time ordering physical. Always did download via ea. Crossing finger that I don't have too wait long after November 3rd to get it. Would like it if they shipped it a few days earlier. The stores have them days early they simply can't put them on the shelves. Why not ship them to people far and away?!?

Yeah, I don't know why they chose not to arrange for street date delivery. Probably didn't want to go to the expense or something. It's unfortunate.

But yea.. i almost always order from either Gamestop or D2D... but.. wanted the collectors eddition.. and wanted a 'hard-copy' of it.. simply for the owners manual / skill manual book that im hopeing is in that case =D ala. NWN.

just payed off my CE from gamestop yesterday... can't wait to get that tin case and cloth map. At lest i'll have something to read during what is probably going to be a long install.
