Need some opinions.  playing on insanity

If you always just hang way back and mostly use powers a lot, you might be better off with Power Armour. Otherwise, Assault Armour with its 50% shield boost seems the way to go.

Depends on play style. Power Armor gives more defense and boost your biotics and tech skills. So it's better if you hang back. Assault armor is for mid-close range, its gets the maximum most in damage and range. I'm stubborn and don't wanna give up my assault armor, but it really doesn't last long on Insanity, drops after like 2-3 sec in heavy fire. Power armor may be the better bet for you.



Either way, if you spam your shield, you can survive for a ridiculous amount of time.

The shield boost from Assault Armour makes it better protection than Power Armour anyway. The only real reason to take Power Armour is the power damage bonus.
