This thread is about what you would have done in certain ME situations if you had not been restricted by the dialogue options. This could go for ME1 and ME2. This WILL have some ME1 spoilers.


I would have kept the Rachni Queen in her cage and called the alliance to pick her up.

I would have arrested Fist, Helena Blake, Finch etc. IDC if you don't have enough evidence to prosecute them all, a spectre's word has to count for something.

I would of left Jack to die on that ship.

Wanted to have a "Disconnect" dialogue option with every debriefing with T.I.M.

1.) Hunt down and kill the people that send spam. I really hate it. That would be on all 4 characters.

2.) Renegade would have killed the Blue Suns merc that she injured. And she would have killed the mad Batarian prophet. Would have liked to have killed Nassana with her as well.Basically kill anybody that got in her way/crossed her that I wasn't able to.

3.) Neutral Adept would have spaced Jacob and Miranda after finding out what happened to Jack.



That's all I can think of for now.

Lots of times it would to say what is actually written and not what is said. The first renegade choice in the game for example. That is an order... I'd say that, no problem. Telling her, to do it etc, and I'll drag jokers crippled ass out of here, I would not say.

i would have pistol whipped Ashely for calling me a traitor then shot her out of misery , no one can be that stupid , i was dead for 2 years what part can't she understand

Wow.  There's a lot of possiblities here.  Uh.  Well I definitely would have called the Council and asked them what to do with the Rachni Queen.  Would have left the decision involving the fleet in ME1 up to Admiral Hackett, Shepard is in no place to survey the battle and give an informed opinion on what to do, not to mention that the Admiral is an Admiral, and much more qualified to make such a decision quickly after hopping through the relay.

Let's see, ME2.  Would have had Tali shoot Legion after he was caught spying on her and scanning her omnitool behind her back.  I was skeptical about everything he did from the beginning, but espionage like that would be a one way ticket out the airlock. 

I would have told Miranda off after her little argument with Jack.  Calling Jack a mistake because of what her own ****ed up organization did to children... inexcusable.  At that point, if she didn't apologize for being a **** and get over it, I'd drop her ass off on Omega.

I would have had Tali/Mordin scour the Normandy for those listening devices and cameras and remove all of them.  I also never would have take all 12 team members onto the shuttle while the IFF was being worked on, especially considering that I had nothing left to do except the Omega-4 Relay.

Wouldn't have let Kaidan cry like a **** and run off to the Council (to...tell them things they already know? Whatever, dude). Grab him by the collar and smack him upside the head until he understands the meaning of 'dead'.

Tell Liara something along the lines of..."I love you and I couldn't have let you go either." ...when seeing her on Illium. There was no Paragon choice to respond to her after she tells you what she did and why.

These are out of Chronological order, oh well

- Kicked Zaeed off my Ship & out of my Crew when my SAVING the lives of those Slaves in his Loyalty Mission lost his loyalty over a grudge, loyalty I couldn't get back. Like I'm gonna let innocents burn to death! Stone cold.


- Pursued a romance with Gabriel Daniels (in engineering). Shep can romance his secretary, why not Gabby...?... who incidentally reminds me of Kaylee Frye (Firefly).


- Given the Data Discs those Two Salarians in Omega had me collect against Aria, TO Aria,
in hopes of fostering an alliance & possible recruitment in ME3... uknow... if Omega went to hell (more than it already was)


- 'Sealed the Deal' with Miranda in the SHOWER, not in Engineering!


- Made Ash/Kaiden jealous with a dialog option that wasn't there, saying Shep has moved on, found someone else. Would have been a fun way to clinch that romance instead of cheating with new Crewmate & the betrayal can only come out later in ME3.

And best for last;
- Been contacted by Joker when Collectors come for Normandy, forcibly boarded Normandy, fought Collectors off, BOARDED THEIR ship, taken back Crew, stolen their ship & used it as a battering ram into Collector base during final mission, opening the way for Normandy to land/enter and finish the job! Ooorah!

Told the Illusive man I wasn't going to play his game from square 1 and returned to the Council.


Talked to Liara for more than two minutes. And done so with actual emotions.


Fired Kelly.


Romanced Tali in ME1.


Bought an automatic fish feeding machine.


Just pulled a gun and shot Morinth in the club instead of bothering with all that bait garbage.

nah it would have been for her own good , ok maybe i would not shot her dead but a shot in her foot like Conrad, it would have gave her a hint that she is stupid and maybe she would pay attention to what Garrus and  i were saying instead of spouting nonsense

I would have had shepherd actually show his helmet-cam recordings of:

Saren, Sovereign, Vigil, Husks, The Derelict reaper, Various Prothean Beacons and Finally of the Collectors and Harbinger, and had him show it to the council. At the very least, that's worth a lot of finger-quotes.



Also, my Ashley killed Wrex, so I would have shot here then and there If I hadn't wanted to get rid of Kaiden more.



Also I would have gone to the Krogan female camp

Are you talking about the Merc during the recruitment for Grunt?  If so you can kill him.  Tell him not to answer when his compatriots call, and then a interupt will appear.

Whether Renegade or Paragon I would have, purely on the basis of Cerberus's behavior in the first game:

1) After getting the Normandy, flown straight back to the Citadel immediately, spoken to Anderson and had Miranda and Jacob arrested and questioned for being agents of a criminal organisation

2) Removed all Cerberus logos from the Normandy and equipment

3) Asked Mordin to remove all Cerberus monitoring equipment

4) Reported the Derelict Reaper to the Council, kidnapped the Turian councillor (Renegade) and dumped his arse on the 37M year old Derelict Reaper that looks just like Sovereign, and dare him to repeat the "Ah Yes: Reapers" quote again while at gunpoint.

5)  Arranged for the derelict reaper to be towed to a safer location, and quarantined, before boarding and recovering the IFF

6) Parked the Normandy near the Citadel while installing/testing the IFF.  If anything went wrong, help is nearby, and no one is going to attack the Normandy next to the Citadel fleet.  This is what any one with 2 brain cells to rub together would have done.

6) Taken ALL of my team mates on away missions, rather than just 2.  The Kodiak shuttle holds up to 14 people, so why are we only bringing 2 people again?

7) Shared the Collector DNA profile with the Salarian STG for proof of the interference with the Protheans of an outside source

8) Demonstrated the power of Indoctrination on the Derelict Reaper, to back up what Vigil said

9) Pulled out all my old suit mission recordings from ME1, to present as evidence

10) Lead a united Omega-4 relay assault mission, first after sending unmanned probes to scope out the other side to assess the dangers, and better prepare for them.  Using the same quantum-entanglement communicators as on the Normandy 2 to get around any reliance on Reaper tech to provide communication to the probes.

11) Sold all the unused mined resources for money to buy equipment, ships, staff, etc

12) Given the Collector Base over to the Citadel/Alliance for study

13) Recruited Kaidan/Ashley on Horizon as I'm obviously not working for Cerberus

14) If Liara was a love interest in ME1, heavily chastised her for being such a selfish b*tch when the fate of the galaxy is at stake, and all she cares about is some personal vendetta.  She's worse than Zaeed in this respect.  At least Zaeed understands that it's important to stop the Reapers/Collectors, even if he's being paid to care.
