I would have asked Mordin to start work on the Quarian immune system problem. Start atoning, sort of thing.
Good call!
Actually not. Closer inspection of the Quarian problem as told in ME2 reveals that it is not 'curable' - the immune system issue is initially an adverse affect to the unique evolutionary development of all life from the Quarian Homeworld - for example on earth insects have their skeletons on the outside of their bodies -
The problem existed because of theitr own genetic structure - the existing condition was acerbated by centuries of wearing environmental suits which 'scrubbed' anything and everything that the wearer would come in contact with thus rendering an already weak immune system entirely redundant - I submit that Mordin, indeed anyone, could not 'fix' this probelm because it is not a case of 'beefing up' amn existing immune system - it is a case of an absence of any immune systemn whatsoever.
I also viewed the metamorphsis of the Protheans into the collectors and the entire Krogan STG issue as exmaples intended to make the gamer aware of consequences - both intended and unintended
Perhaps Mordin could 'alter' the Quarians genetic structure to fpoment an immuen system via alterations arising from data from his assitants genophage cure and the data regarding the collectors/protheans
But I am convinced that Mordin(as portrayed in ME2) would adamantly refuse to undertake the project - if you do not understand why I write that you need to ask Mordin about the Gneophage project again and explore every dialogue branch -
I have this position simply based on mordin's personal ethics - the entire question of the balance of power in the galaxy is also at risk via any 'quarian cure' - and that balance is essential to mMordin as well.
Finally - take Mordin along on the Tali recurit mission - his commentary on the 'quarian architecture' is intriguing.
