Well first off I'm glad those who have taken the time to read my little mini-novel enjoyed it.-D-C-D- wrote...
I enjoyed this, however there were 2 points which I thought you miight have missed a bit of info on;
The Geth ship on Feros actually prevented all outgoing transmissions, so it would've been kinda impossible to radio the Normandy from the Exogeni bulding. You could've driven back and told Joker personally, though. Not sure Id've risked the one and only true stealth ship in council space, though. I don't know how the Normandy would fare vs a Geth ship. Maybe it would've been easy, but I dunno about risking it.
With regards to the Collector ship ambush...there was no Turian cruiser. At all. It was all a hoax report sent out by the Collectors to lure Shep. So no need to support the Turian cruiser. There wasn't one. Ha.
Otherwise me gusta mucho
As far as the geth on Feros goes, yes, I was intending to climb back out the way I came, get back in the Mako, and be most of the way back to the weigh station before the Normandy destroys the Geth ship. I figure since the ship is pretty tied to the side of the building, they can take it out before it manages to get mobile, so there's not a lot of danger. I didn't know what the hell was waiting deeper inside the building, could have been several hundred geth for all I knew, and I had no way of knowing if I would actually be able to disable the ship or the forcefield by proceeding forward, so backing up and getting out of there seemed like the best option.
As far as the collector ship ambush, there was a turian cruiser, you can see it in the approach to the collector vessel in the cinematic, in the upper right side of the screen. The turian vessel may have no one alive left to help, however, as it seems dead in space. It's likely the collectors boarded it and obtained the data necessary to send the fake distress signal, but made a mistake on the hidden encryption channel or whatever it was.
