1. Disabled Jack's biotic amp and handed her over to a mental institution.

2. Grilled the Illusive Man thouroughly on Cerberus' past activities.

3. Made Miranda personally remove and disable every bug she placed on the Normandy.

4. Told Samara to cut out the mystical mumbo jumbo, she's just a vigilante and she knows it.

5. Kept the Collector station in tact for the council to use, not Cerberus.

6. Once the mission was completed, hand Jacob, Joker, Chakwas, Donelly and Daniels over to the the Alliance to stand trial for treason.

I would have visited Dr. Michel's office after receiving her e-mail invite. I would also have swung by to see Emily Wong, maybe done an interview.



And I would've written Corporal Toombs back. Oh, would I have written him back.

 In ME1:

- Restrain Matriarch Benezia instead of outright killing her.  Would have made Liara happy, have offered better proof of Saren and Sovereign (as well as indoctrination) and might possibly have freed her from the indoctrination effects over time.
- Keep the Rachni queen captive and request instructions from the Council. Although this at least seems to have worked out for the best.
- make a recording of the conversation with Sovereign.
- romance Tali! 
- failing that, convince Kaiden to join my femShep in a nice little threesome with Liara.
- talk Wrex down by saying that I would confiscate Saren's genophage cure and give it to (non biased) scientists to study and make a non brainwashy version.
- save both Ash and Kaiden at Virmire.


ME2:

- tell TIM to stuff it after Freedom's Progress and broken from Cerberus.
- take the recordings of the Collectors to the Council.
- convince Tali that her people should know the truth about what her father did.
- had longer, deeper and more "romantic" conversation with Liara.
- tell Thane to go to Dr. Chakwas and Mordin; perhaps they would have some insight on his disease that the hanar do not.
- romance Wrex.  (seriously, out of the entire old crew, he's the happiest to see you!)
- had my manShep romance Thane or Garrus and possibly a femShep romance Tali.
- convince Kelly to feed my fish without having to take her up for dinner.
- asked Mordin to coordinate a Normandy talent show with more of his singing.
- made Miranda apologize to Jack for what Cerberus did.
- made Jack realize that just because I'm chatting with her and being friendly does not mean I want in her pants.
- hand over the Collector base to the Council.
- let Jacob decide what to do with his father.
- somehow convince Samara to allow Morinth to live and do penance as part of Shepard's crew (perhaps with the footnote that if she doesn't shape up and become a better person, Samara can kill her at the end of the suicide mission)
- give my definitive answer re: ME1 love interests in discussion with ME2 love interests (e.g. Tali asking if Liara would be okay with us, telling her that Liara has moved on, etc)

I actually wouldn't give the base over to the council. There are 2 possible outcomes to this situation.



1. Cerberus uses the remains of the ship to elevate humans above all other races in the galaxy



2. The council uses the ship to do absolutely nothing and find another reason not to help you fight the reapers.

Why are people assuming they could just quit Cerberus, lock up their agents, keep their ship/crew and continue on about their marry ways still completing all these missions which were only possible because of Cerberus intel? Cerberus was the only group in the galaxy able and willing to do ALL the stuff in ME2. Without them, we would have been dicked. We still might be dicked, but I'll wait on another game to figure that out.

There's only two crucial pieces of intel Cerberus provides that wouldn't be available even if you dump them completely after Freedom's Progress, and one of those only has its availability limited because of Cerberus - the turian distress signal he intercepted and prevented from reaching its destination.  Even if I dumped Cerberus, TIM still wants the Collectors stopped, so he wouldn't hold back that information, instead allowing the turians to receive the signal, and the Council would pass the information on since I'm investigating the collectors.

The other crucial piece of intel is the derelict reaper's location, which would be completely unnecessary if Shepard did the smart thing and disabled the collector ship before boarding, so they can't get away.  Then she could get the IFF from the collector ship and skip the derelict reaper stage entirely.  Furthermore, it's also possible that you might meet up with Legion elsewhere, and he might know the derelict reaper's location.  If not, it's still not needed.

Be more harsh to Cerberus and make them apologize for Akuze. Never wear Cerberus clothes (the pirate clothing is very ugly, I kept Cerberus uniform). Help Liara with her problems on the Shadow Broker. Explain myself better to Ashley, if she rejected then never look back. Get wasted with Garrus and Jacob before suicide mission.
