I thought the consensus was a non-loyal tech specialist would survive if Miranda or Garrus was the second team leader. Never tried it myself though.

I dunno ... ships seem to be able to generate some mean mass effect fields, why not mobile platforms?

yeah, this is a renegade playthrough. but this is exactly why i'd like for more to live because i want them to either guide or witness destruction in me3.
