But it doesn't actually expand on anything. It's not really an expansion.Smaaen90 wrote...
It's hands down a I´m complete satisfied with the performance of the product
For the people voting "It's ok as an addon." - If you rate Awakening as an addon, what on earth would you rate "Stone Prisoner" - "Wardens keep" - "Return to ostegar" ? Those are addons, Awakening is an expansion. Despite the 'negative' parts being said about it, all in all, it's still an expansion to Origins.
It's some schitzophrenic chimera, crossed between an addon and a sequel. It's like they wanted to make a sequel, was confined to an addon, and decided to call it an expansion.

By using the word complainers, it looks like your perception was skewed from the start.

As far as expansions go, Awakening is a major let-down, with zero backwards compatability aswell as virtually zero "forward"-compatability or "carryover". It feels glued-on and haphazardly thrown togheter in terms of mechanics and doesn't mesh well with the overall game.
Though you are right about backwards compatability, I still have to disagree with you about:
...virtually zero "forward"-compatability or "carryover"...
I think there are no grounds to make such a claim as we can't say anything about something we didn't even heard of. Maybe next DA will be all based on DA:A instead of DA:O.
Or did you want to say: "DA:O has virtually zero "forward"-compatability or "carryover" for DA:A"?
I still didn't play DA:A with savegame from DA:O so don't know anything about carryover, but forward-compatability is definetly there.
So did you just pulled this claim out of the air, or there are some real ground for this?

One poll is not going to accurately show who the majority is.

Second, considering the poll's in German, I think the only thing it might reflect is the German-speaking forum users' view.

Second: The poll is translated on the first page.
Hope to answer all your questions to your satisfaction.

Yes, I put answer 3. Of course, like most polls, it lacked nuanced answers. Like "I was mostly satisfied with DA:A and there WERE many things I liked, *but* I felt it was *lacking* due to so many bugs and portions that felt *rushed*, so therefore I think they charged too much for it?"
I think that falls somewhere between answers 2 and 3.

Even for an extension I find Awakening a little bit short in the comparison to the OC (I expect about 1/2 of the length of the OC in an extension when Awakening is less than 1/3) but, as DAO is rather long, it is still an average extension (not a good one). Also, if the next patch is released within a reasonable time (we have already waited for more than 1 month for the patch) and it solve all the bugs I consider major (for me the major bugs are the broken companion approval and personal quests and the lost gear in the mines) my answer will rather be 2.
If we have to wait one more month for the next patch of if it does not fix at least the bugs that break my fun of the game, Awakening would be the last Bioware product I would have bought (and probably also the last EA product).

Answer 1 and 2 are not the same. While the 1st answer means that this game is extraordinary means the 2nd option that the game is only average in comparison to DAO.
In shortform
1.) extraordinary
2.) average (ok for addon)
3.) bad (disappointed)
But I agree with you this poll is not perfect.

I would put 2 if it didn't have the level of bugs it had.
Because of the level of bugs it has, it falls closer to 3.
BTW, it's not just because it's short that I'd give it a 2 answer, I expect expacs to be short.
No what bugs me is not just when the world is small/short (as you expect in an expac), but it feels like even within that small world ... things are missing, incomplete, unfinished.
That's why I'd give this a 2 ... even if it had fewer bugs.

I think you need more blank lines in your post.
