I got started on this quest...went to the inn after the chantry, got the note that says something above the city...went to the battlefields (the correct one) but there was no note there. Is it a bug or what?
till death do us part quest ...note fragment missing?

Hmm, if you are at the right one and there is no note then yes it is a bug. Make sure you are at the right one though, it is all the way up.
