Spells like singularity don't work properly in both titles when enemies are lying on the ground, it drives me crazy! So I cast singularity on a Krogan in ME2, it gets sucked into it all right, then it drops down, I quickly recast singularity, and ...nothing! Same bull as in ME1! You actually have to wait until the enemy gets up, both feet must be on the ground, otherwise it's unaffected. Applies to all enemies in ME1, but only to some enemies like Krogan in ME2. But if you wait that long, the enemy will have enough time to shoot you once before it gets re-sucked into singularity, which is ANNOYING! Same bug applies also to Pull/Lift
Also, whenever I use singularity, enemies for some reason are always drawn towards me and always drop right on my head, which is annoying like hell! At least 1 mio chairs, tables and enemies dropped right on my head in both ME1 and2. I thought singularity draws objects towards itself, not towards the caster?! And in ME2, you can't even change position, because if you run through your own singularity, "touching" it, it simply disappears right away for some reason and the enemies drop down too early!
Some spells don't work with enemies lying on the ground, both ME1 and 2

I found Singularity incredibly less effective in ME2. I watched enemies run right through it when there were none caught in it in the first place.

You need to destroy their defences first, then you'll be able to hit them with it.

Yes, I know, I destroy the defenses, hit them with singularity and it works, but if I re-cast it before they get back up on their feet, they are unaffected

I think it's because when you re-cast the first signularity disappear, there can only be one
singularity at a time.
I guess that's just how Bioware design this skill.

Not entirely true if you use it on an enemy with there defences still up it does effect them by slowing there movementyowave wrote...
