Try reading some actual critic reviews instead of relying on your biased collection of data and biased interpretation.
But remember, if a critic likes something you didn't, it's only because EA bribed him.
Also remember, if a critic likes something you didn't, it means you don't like something and the critic does.

Critics are much more objective, though.TJSolo wrote...

Of course. But as we both know, the vast majority of critical reviews have been positive. That's the sort of thing people are trying to explain away with the bias charge, rather than saying that most critics are just plain wrong.

How can you even prove any given critic is more objective then any given player.
Even if true the player's opinion still stands and is not effected by a critics opinion.

There is no explaining away a high critical review. People talking about the game are talking about it from their perspective and their opinions. They are not letting some critical review rule how they view a game. It's the people like you that try to explain away a player's opinion by bringing up critical reviews.

It's their job to play as many games as possible and compare them with each other, while players will stick to one game or set of games.TJSolo wrote...

They assume Mass Effect 2 is an RPG when they play it, and they judge accordingly compared to all the other games they've played. Most people here are trying to pick out differences between the two Mass Effect games instead, and that leads to a lot of dissatisfaction.

me2 is a rpg. do you or do you not decide what happens? the only diffrence wich pissed everyone off ( not me) complained mainly about the clip system. im sorry but i found the clip system great because infinite ammo was blah to me and didnt feel realistic. im not even a big shooter gamer but 95% of the people on the boards say stupid **** like ooooooh bioware sold out to shooter fans. since when has mass effect as a franchise always been just an rpg? last time i checked it was rpg/tps

im just saying that rpg elements wise me2 felt similar to me1 in that area alone. secondly most of the people on here moan about the clip system wich to me is a nice well done touch. people say me2 isnt a rpg at all but honestly when has mass effect only been just rpg? last time i checked was its a mix of rpg and tps

"our love for the second one came mainly from the HERITAGE that ME1 has leave to us"
Now that I think, it's true.

ME2 was far from ME1 rpg wise and most people are complaining about just that, not the clip system which you keep bringing up. Like you said Mass Effect is suposed to be an rpg/tps, but ME2 felt like a tps with rpg elements. There's a big difference.

THE BALDUR'S GATE SAGA WAS THE TRUE MASTERPIECE (with some mods from the amazing modding community of course, Wes Weimer, you are a God. A Biotic God.)
Anyone who disagrees will be killed in their sleep tonight by either Sarevok or Jon Irenicus.
That is all.
