So i want to buy this game but the question is what platform - Xbox360 with HD screen or my PC. Id prefer PC if it can handle it.

I have following specs:

Intel Core 2 CPU 2.33GHz, 4 GB ram
Windows XP

Nvidia GeGorce Go 7950 GTX 512Mb ram

Its a Dell XPS M1710 laptop of about 2ish years old.

There isnt a demo or something that will let me get an idea about performance before i buy. Im hesitant about buying these games now on this dated machine ever since i bought GTA 4 via stream and the game couldnt even load properly.

If you want to try the engine out first, try to DL the character creator first

the 7950 might be a tad rough, but it should be ok...the only problem is, and it's more a PC issue. Using 4GB of ram with a 32-bit OS means you're only benifiting from about 3.2GB of it (minus the 512MB for your graphics card, so about 2.5-2.8 or so is actually used. the CPU is also a TAD slow, but should be ok, especially if you don't try to max the game out.

just thought id post - in case anyone stumbled onto this post - i bought the game - collectors edition via steam. I run it at almost max graphics (just the resolution down onto the 2nd highest). Its not super smooth fps but with all the pause/un pause i do on the hard and nightmare settings i hardly notice. Glad i bought this game. Super stuff.
