The Hammerhead vs The Mako

I choose The Mako, The Mako has stronger shielding (it never got destroyed by Geth AR's), it has stronger weapons: a 155mm Mass Accelerator and a coaxial-mounted machine gun. I think that The Mako can dodge Hammerhead's missiles. The machine gun is more powerful then Geth AR's and Geth AR's can destroy the Hammerhead and the 155mm canon is stronger then Hammerheads missiles and it is an almost instant hit. I think that the Hammerhead can take 2-3 155mm rounds before exploding and the Mako would also keep spraying with the machine gun.

Bioware has always been about an epic story. EA has always been about profit margins. EA has never been about making quality games, and rather popular games. Epic games are popular games. The problem is that no gamer has that mentality if it's longer then 10 hours. Sorry, but we need to make people's attention spans grow if you play Bioware RPG's.

EA wants it to be for the masses when Mass Effect never was meant to be for the masses.

and ME had a good story? It was one of BW worse stories ever, not even close to BG1+2, KOTOR and Jade Empire. ME2 had a more personal story. The only good thing of ME story was Saren.

Instead it doesn't have it, so the Mako would win, period. If we are at "what if", then we could also say the Mako moves at lightspeed, outmaneuvers the HH and also has a system that makes it unattackable from heat-seeking missiles... :innocent:
And also the HH would need some decent controls, a better physics engine (yes, both were better on the ****ing Mako!) and a deccent set of shields plus a real hull, not that tin can hull that can't take any punishment...

But The Hammerhead doesn't have a secondary gun.... We're not bulding a M45 Infantry Fighting vehicle, we're using the current models. Mako's canon can't be dodged if it's used by a skilled shooter, it's to fast the same goes for the machine gun, but the machine gun isn't accurate over long distances. But The Mako can dodge missiles, Hammerheads missiles doesn't appear to have a very good guiding system.kraidy1117 wrote...

I never died once because unlike the MAKO which was clunky and slow, the Hammerhead was fast and very easy to avoid bullets. I only came close to getting killed by a colosus once. Also the health recharging time is alot faster which is a plus sie for higher difficulties.

lol, isn't me2 supposed to be a continuation of the me story? This will then come to a conclusion in me3? are we getting confused between story and gameplay? i thought the story was great, and continued nicely in me2, leaving ever1 speculating on me3.kraidy1117 wrote...

It was a lot better than the one in ME2, that's for sure. Being resurrected with no explanation, the absolutely useless (storywise) Collectors, that btw make for really boring enemies, the linear levels, no immersion thanks to lading screens/mission reports (completely useless) etc...

So you would say that ME2 was better than BG1+2, KOTOR, and Jade Empire? Wow, way to go and say that ME1 is worse than ME2 when it came to story. Character development was there, certainly. It was certainly better than ME1's character development. The surprise was better than all the other games put together in ME1. It's hard to top's KOTOR's twist, but you can always expect a twist in Bioware games. I knew from before the game came out that the Collectors were Protheans. It just so happened I was wrong in the manner of action they took and how they became Collectors but I proposed they were not just Collectors, but Protheans long ago on this website before the game came out.

Does not matter, the MAKO is very slow, the Hammerhead is fast and has heat sinking rocket. All the Hammerhead needs to do is strife around it and do the huge jumps in the air and shower it with missles. Plus unlike the MAKO, the Hammerhead has a fast recharging rate. The MAKO would lose because the Hammerhead has speed.

Well, I can't speak for everyone, but... There are a lot of people who feel ripped off if there isnt at least 30+ hours of play in games these days. I feel very satisfied when a game takes 50 or more hours to complete, absolutely giddy if it reachs 100 hours (yep, there are a few really good games that have that much content).

No I would not, I said ME2 story was better then ME. BG2 and KOTOR are two of the best stories in gaming. Don't put words in my mouth. Also the big twist in ME2 was how Reapers where made and what they realy are (and no I am not talking about the Human-Reaper, I am talking about the process to make them. The Human-Reaper is was lame, not as lame as frog Saren tho...)

The HAmmerhead can jump over 200 feet high and shower the MAKO with missles. Brute strength is useless when the thing you are vs has speed.

Hammerhead uses fans to boost and jump. If theres no atmosphere, HH won't be able to move much, just sit there and hover.
Would be nice if we had both vehicles, theres plenty of room in Normandy's vehicle bay for a lot more.

The Mako is very slow? Why do I get the feeling that you one of the Mako haters. The Mako has a better power/speed belance then the Hammerhead. The Mako can survive mutiple misslie hits. The Hammerhead can't survive multiple hits from a 155mm Mass Accelerator and a machine gun. And let the Hammerhead make huge jumps in the air, it makes more difficult to aim for it and The Mako would get a bigger target (instant hit 155mm canon:whistle:).kraidy1117 wrote...

I take it your a MAKO lover. The Hammerhead is faster then the MAKO and can strife, something the MAKO lacks, also the Hammerhead has heatseeking rockets, jump in the air and shower the MAKO with rockets, and the Hammerhead is easy to dodge bullets. Also you have to take recharging times. MAKO's recharge time is very slow, Hammerhead has a fast recharge time. The Hammerhead can beat the MAKO.

I much prefer the Hammerhead over the Mako, I like the speed and nimbleness. It doesn't stand up to getting hit like the Mako but the rate of fire of the guided missles cannot be beat. To top it off you can do pop up attacks

So if they make you attempt to fly up 80 degree slopes (or the equivalent in the HH) you'd hate that vehicle too?
Don't hate the vehicle, hate the terrain designers who drank too much jolt cola before being let loose on the terrain meshes.
