Yeah, I learned you couldn't always rely on the positioning of your dialogue options to get you what you want. It was more trial and error for me. I actually found a lot of the lines they chose to draw between paragon and renegade a bit weird sometimes.
When I was playing maleShep, after the Miranda kiss scene I got a bunch of renegade points. No idea why. I didn't find the dialogue leading up to that particularly renegade-ish.
Wtf? The "I just want to get you in bed" was actually the paragon option? That's...strange. I do know that the last conversation before the Omega relay, has the option to break the relationship in the top right though. Probably so people don't accidentally choose it since the neutral middle option is highlighted by default.
Yeah, it's the upper right dialogue option on the wheel. Odd, huh? Or maybe it just is to me... not used to seeing options like that there...
I always choose the neutral "what matters is how we feel" or whatever option. Actually, Miranda's romance is better when you pursue more renegade choices.
Like, you can only get to the kiss scene by making renegade convo selections, and the kiss enhances the romance. Also, responding in a negative way to her "promise me you won't die" leads to an almost touching moment that I find better than promising her you won't die, which strikes me as more paragon.
