I started the DLC and fired up a new game where I imported my ME2 Character to try a new game.  Upon Import, I had 60 / 30 probes and 1500 / 1000 Fuel and 12 heavy weapon ammo.  I was unable to save the game.  I tried on the ship deck, on Omega, back on the ship, etc, etc.  I saw the saving content yellow spin and tried to load the auto save.  The character name was not John Shepard.  In fact, it was not even close and I was not able to import it any way.

No big deal.  I will just try again tonight.  But, I am at a loss why I could not not save.  No matter where I was, it was greyed out as if in combat.  I hope it had something to do with trying to multi-task the DLC and charcter import.

You didn't try to alter your face, then hit cancel when asked what storage device to save it to, did you? That results in not being able to save the game later at all. Found that out the hard way, did it by accident once.

Thanks for the info. I am unable to remember if I did that or not. But, I do believe that the probability of user error was greater than a ghost in the machine.
