How do you set the value for where it should snap to surface? When you've added stairs and made height difference it keeps snapping to the previous height. I'm guessing rooms have a global value for this but I can't find it.

Not sure, but an alternative is to put the elevated section in a group at the default height, then tweak the height of the group in object inspector.

that's what I'm doing now, just applying it to the default surface and move/adjust the whole area when it's done.

Not sure if this is what you guys are looking for, but if you go to Tools->Options you can set the Snap Surface Enable to True, same with cutscenes.

Looking for a way to set the default surface snap value, not to disable/enable it. It can also be disabled/enabled by pressing the magnet-button. Thanks though.

It's not a big deal, it just gets a bit tedius to adjust it manually all the time.

Not sure... but what about changing the grid size it's snapping to rather than attempting to adjust snap to grid?
