I never imagined a ranking like this, but the two squadmate voices that I most like are definiltey Miranda's and Garrus'. It's kind of funny sometimes because I really don't understand what they are saying but I find it cool... it took me a very long time to realize that Garrus says "scoped and dropped"...
.
But I guess my favorites are "that one hit" and "night night" from Miranda.
.
Besides those two, I have to think about.

"scoped and dropped" has become somewhat of a inside meme between myself and my friends.

Samara's voice is very soothing. It's my favorite. It's very chilling when she uses reave and you hear her say "Your life...is mine." Gives me goosebumps. Other than that, Legion's voice is cool.

...I haven't really used the other squad mates...But I will say that Miranda's battle grunts are unsettlingly sexual.

Thane also deserves a mention, I think. Him being all spiritual and stuff comes across as mocking the enemy: Clean kill. Go in peace.

1. Tali- For a character with no face, it's amazing how much emotion she conveys through body language and voice, whether she's flustered and babbling, or heartbroken and grieving. Hell, even faceless Tali delivers more emotion with nothing but a look and silence than most characters do with full facial expression and voice (remember the look she gives when Jacob mentions EDI?). The most emotionally affecting line in the game for me was during her trial; a simple two words, begging, "Shepard... please..." Even if I think Rael deserved to have his crimes known and his name smeared, I can't bring myself to do it on any playthrough because of that one damn line.



2. Mordin- Just listening to him is hilarious. Very well written and acted. Especially love the dramatic inhalation (*inhales* implications unpleasant). And more than just comic relief, the words and acting on his loyalty quest was so good I was actually persuaded somewhat with his thoughts and opinions on the Genophage, which I was so firmly against all throughout ME1.



3. Samara- There's just... something about her voice. She sounds filled with wisdom and tranquility from an uncomprehendably long life rich with experience, and yet she can also sound downright chilling ("find peace in the embrace of the Goddess"), or faintly sultry ("if I were a maiden, I'd drag you to the floor right now"), without losing that peaceful quality. She kinda reminds me of Wynne, but a lot scarier and sexier.

Hm. Not a question I've considered. Answer simple, obvious. Not much contest, really. Certain members have compelling personalities, but voices? Clear winner.

Different species react differently to pitch. Divergent opinions to be expected.

Every time I hear Miranda go "On the ground!" I get very strange ideas about the scene in Engineering...

Hmmmm. . . my favorite would indubitably be Legion; I love everything it says, but the part from its loyalty mission where it finds out the heretic Geth have been spying on the "other" Geth is one of my favorite conversations in the game.
The first time it asked me what they (The Geth) did wrong, I could feel/hear its confusion, sadness and pain, (even though its a machine and probably can't feel pain or sadness, but that's not the point), my mistrust instantly evaporated and Legion became one of my favorite squaddies.

Also, any time Tali'Zorah says anything to her drone i.e. "Go for the optics!", "Good girl Chitikka", makes me smile

In combat, just about all of them are cool, except Samara. Her combat voice is way too relaxed. Jack is probably the best. When she says "I'll kill you all!" I just love it. Miranda is also cool in combat.

Outside of combat they all have good voice acting I think, except Miranda; her voice acting is mostly terrible.

Mordin and Thane, hands down. Since they missed out on an opportunity for humor with grunt being tank-bred and as such afraid to fly in the normandy.
