And can you post vids of those classes?  I always play it safe and cover all of the time but I need to spice things up after spending 300 hours on this game playing the same style

300 hours? My god o_O I'll be lucky if I've put in 100

Anyway, try the vanguard or the soldier.

Yeah that's the minimum too.  Me1 and Me2 are the only games that I like on my 360 but I need to start giving other games a chance.  I gave up on the others too quickly.

Well I'd say the vanguard any day. The best way to play is with your elbow in your enemy's face as often as possible.

I hear the soldier can get rather boring with the lack of "magic" powers, but things can get exciting.

The infiltrator is a surprisingly fast paced class, what with needing to pop headshots consistently.

here's a video contribution for the Vanguard. I had a better video, but I could not find it in my viewing history. Just skip to the combat.

Every class can probably be fast paced in the right hands. Hell, search YouTube Nuffarian's Sentinel vids.

Sentinel, Vanguard and either Infiltrator or Soldier.

Vanguard charges up close, fast paced.

Sentinel does the same IF he takes a certain power armour and chooses to play that way.

Infiltrator can do the stealthy backstab stuff with cloak, but might go sniper.

On the other side

Engineer is all about spamming abilities; fairly slow paced cover based combat.

Adept is much the same, its just different how you spam them really.

Soldier is about fighting from cover, generally.

Basically the "pure" classes are all about fighting from covers, the hybrids can be played with more mobility.

Sure, you CAN play any class with the mobility method, but this is generally how it'll turn out.

Jarkill: I disagree about the soldier. I found that my soldier shepard goes through insanity like a hot knife through butter (I seem to be most fluent with this class, but I wouldn't say I enjoy it most). Storm while AR, melee and shotgun. This ends fights quickly, although not nearly as fast as the vanguard.

Odd, the Engineer was second only to the Vanguard, for me, in terms of clearing maps.  Mind you, my Engineer used Dominate as a bonus ability, and the Viper sniper rifle as a weapon specialisation, and was often standing in the wide open shooting into confused crowds that were shooting at each other, whether that be organics (Dominate) or Synthetics (AI Hacking), or both (joy!).

Anyway, to answer the OP, IMO, Vanguard, Engineer, Sentinel, in that order, for my experience.

Fast paced? Vanguard. I've played as a soldier too, but it wasn't anywhere near as in your face as the vanguard playthrough.
