I'd like a 1984 themed adventure game.
That could be cool.
I'd be interested to see a game based on Les Miserables- there's lots of drama and action, which makes it pretty epic. An adventure game based on The Three Musketeers could also be quite entertaining.

Obsidian is also making a single-player RPG based on it.Godak wrote...
They are making an RPG based off of the Wheel of Time series. I hope that they do the series justice.
I think a game based on Tad Williams's Otherland series would be pretty interesting.

The game Frank Herbert's Dune followed the main plot of the book... but the developers went bankrupt shortly after the game was released and so the story was never finished.Arbiter Libera wrote...
Games based on Dune books, but actually following the main plot not just using the setting. Although, it's pretty sure that it's never gonna happen because of the very nature of Dune - it's way too political and "talky". But then again, there's supposed to be a new (remake?) movie coming so we may at least see a movie game... yeah.
It was a stealth/action game as opposed to the 4 other Dune games which were all largely strategy games (though Dune 1 had some nice adventure elements).
I'd really like a RPG using the Dune universe.

WTB Dark Tower game, not the main story, but set in the same universe.
The Dark Tower: Gunslingers of Gilead or something would be an awesome name.

Would there be lots of singing? (Les Miserables)
I don't think so; that's a bit too much.
Like someone else said, I hope that the WoT game is good. I've only read three of the books and think there are better writers out there, but it would be a fun game to play.
I second the idea of a Dark Tower game.
There's also supposed to be a game based on the battle room of Ender's Game. I wonder how that will turn out.

You mean by having it start out pretty good and then just drone on and on about things that are completely irrelevant to the plot for so long that you can't even remembre what the game is about?
