Stone Prisoner, time to take action

 Hey guys,

Ok its been a very long time since this issue first came up, EA and Bioware are yet to even make a statement confirming that the problem exists. 

So for those that have purchased your game with the free DLC content included you will note that on the back of your game packaging the game states that it included the DLC inside, as none of us are able to take delivery of these items Bioware and EA and in breach of the sales agreement. 

I advise those that have the time to raise the problem with consumer affairs, this will lean a great financial cost onto the company and hopefully resolve the issue at hand, either through refund of product Value $25AUD or delivery of promised goods.

Don't worry...the 1st of May the problem will be solved...I don't know how but something tells me that that date will be decisive in the solving of this particular issue ;P

well, you are optimistic. i really hope you are right tho. still, we need to raise this matter. with no official acknowledgement that the problem exist, i am kinda nervous about this. tell me how can we escalate this and i will follow through. i am still pissed over losing my data.

Lol...you mean you hope that I am NOT right...the free DLC have an expiring date, which is the 30th of April...mine was a jape ;)

Consumer affairs would be the first point of contact, they will recommend that your write the company a written request to solve the complaint. Does anybody know the address to send correspondence to?

Once this action has taken place and you have a hard, written response Consumer affairs can act if your rights are being infringed.



After taking time to reconsider this thread I believe it could have been written better, it is wrong to incite action of others. So if you do contact Consumer affairs do it with respect and honesty, Bioware have given us many a gift and I hope they know we act only out of frustration of being ignored.

I've just finished an advisory call with a consumer affairs contact, there is one main right here that we could enact immediately. and it is the right of Refund however that's not an option I'm happy to use.



We should be eligible for refund under the following right,

Consumers are entitled to a refund if the product/s:

"do not match a sample you were shown, or, are not as they were described"



The girl said she cannot give any definitive answers with out more information as she's not sure about the ramifications faced given that the advertised content won't download however the means to obtain it(the slip) was actually in the box.



So end of the story its a minefield in which we would long get over the game before finding a solution... sigh.



Bioware I know you guys don't frequent this as it is designed as a community support where we help each other but please, give us a light at the end of the tunnel please. You guys do some fantastic work, this is taking away from one of your art pieces.

Many of you are reporting that you are unable to download the Stone Prisoner DLC. We've identified the issue that is causing thing and are working on a resolution. We're aiming to have this completed as soon as possible, and will update you when the fix is complete. Once it is, the content will appear for you again if your account is entitled to it.
