The A team is your main group that is your BEST group to tag along with, you work a lot better with them than you do with anyone else.

Your B team is the team is your 2nd best team.

For ME 1 and 2, what members were your A team and B Team? Why? For what class as well?

For my soldier in ME 1 my A team was Tali and Liara, to help cover up my soldiers lack of biotics and tech skills. A full out combat user and a full out tech user and a full out biotic user. Even on insanity the enemies never lasted that long.

The B team was Garrus and Wrex. Their combat skills complimented mine while they have some use in biotic and tech.

For my vanguard in ME1 my B team was Kaiden and Garrus. To again cover up my weaknesses.

My A team was Wrex and Tali. To again cover up my weakness while being able to help me out in combat. Very useful

For ME2 my A team for my soldier is actually Tali and Thane. One is a great sniper with warp while the other is a master tech user. that can help take shields while being able to summon her helper. Plus anyone that got too close to Tali got a shotgun round inside of them while Thane sniped from afar while I was dangerous from all ranges.

My B team was Legion and Grunt, Grunt with his claymore and charging did huge damage while legion with his helper and his widow took out enemies pretty easity from afar, Like grunt who was up close to them. Along with my Revenant we took out a lot of units.

My A team for my vanguard in ME2 was Miranda and Legion. Legion with his sniping and tech skills and Miranda with her biotic and tech skills, plus her leadership class really helped to compliment mine. Saved me on several occasions too. 

My B team was Legion and Thane. The masive sniping and biotic/tech attacks were pretty brutal. Helped out to cover me and grab the enemies attention while I got in close.

ME1 A Team: Liara and Kaidan

ME1 B Team: Garrus and Wrex



ME2 A Team: Jack and anyone with Concussive Blast

ME2 B Team: Mordin/Jacob and anyone else.

I had a brainless A team in ME1 ... My infiltrator + Wrex + Ashley.
Everyone activates immunity, Wrex and I keep one guy at a time on the floor, rinse and repeat.
B team was Tali + Garrus. Tech spam = never get shot (nice vs drones etc that biotics or melee doesn't work on).

Miranda + Samara + squad cryo ammo = silly. I like samara with throw field, for flinging frozen people around.
Probably not quite as awesome as samara with pull, but whatever ..

B team ... erm .. Zaeed + Thane. Triple sniper for teh lulz.

ME1 Infiltrator: Kaidan and Wrex = balanced in combat, biotic and tech.



ME2 Infiltrator: Miranda and Jacob pre-loyalty. Miranda always for health/weapon buff, Jacob for cq support and warp detonates.

Miranda and Samara post-loyalty. Samara for warp detonates, AR and Reave which is an improved Warp.

ME1 A TEAM w/Vanguard: Liara and Tali. I did work in combat, Tali worked on hacking and salvaging. Liara's full range of biotics helped.



ME1 B TEAM: Ashley and Wrex: Let them tank while I stayed back and "sniped" with my pistol.



ME2 A TEAM w/Sentinal: Samara and Thane: Biotics with sniper and assault rifles? Yes please! I can take care of a bad guy's shields myself.



ME2 B TEAM: Miranda and Tali: Miranda can hurt shields, armor and barriers very well, and Tali could take over the occasional mech to draw some fire away. Things didn't die as quickly as with my A Team though.

B team = Kaidan + Liara (for biotic spams during hard parts of the game)



ME2 A team = Thane + Samara (Extremely versatile squad with those two no matter what the mission or situation)

B team = Legion + Tali (For hilarity during missions for fighting synthetics - they make a good team, they just hate each other heh. Familarity breeds contempt?)

ME1 A team:Wrex+Garrus :Awesome dialogue and biotic and tech skills and good combat

ME2 A Team=Garrus+Legion: Good weapon choices and skills for Garrus, and Legion's widow with Garrus' Squad AP ammo is just plain murderous.

ME2:B Team=Grunt and Samara : Melee attack is amazing, just rips through Husks, and Reave is pretty overpowered imo.

I'll add that I switch Legion in for Tali once/if I get him; but I didn't put him as "A Team" Cause I typically grab legion, do his mission and head to Suicide Mission. So most of my gameplay with Legion is post-game side mission cleanup.

Of those teams, Miranda & Grunt kicked the most ass. Miranda's squad buffs and Warp, Grunt's unstoppable health bar (Full Immunity, Full Krogan) and Squad Incendiary Ammo.

ME1 A - Tali and Liara
-In ME1, I was very power oriented, as opposed to combat. The only time I never used this was as a Sentinel or Adept. Tali and Liara would disable the enemies while I'd do the killing. It's the ultimate croud controlling squad, in my opinion.

ME1 B - Garrus and Wrex
-This is whenever I needed combat support, usually as a pure class, such as the Adept, or as the Sentinel. It didn't matter what distance I was at, I always had an effective team.



ME2 A - Legion and Grunt
-Raw damage, simply put. Once again, I have an affinity for the casting classes, but due to the way that the powers work in ME2, I limit my usage of squad powers. Send grunt in the middle to draw enemy fire and I strip defenses and Legion headshots. Simple, but the most effective squad I've ever used.

ME2 B - Miranda and Garrus
-This is when heavy defense-stripping was necessary. Garrus did the damage while Miranda did all of the defense-stripping. I would usually assist in this and leave the damage dealing to Garrus.
