So I need to buy some more points. I want to play Return to Ostagar and as with most DLC, I want a legit copy. I've only got an old crummy Maestro at hand, so I make sure to check that yes, it does indeed qualify. Fair enough. Great.

Let's continue.

Fill out.. first.. let's choose what ca.. hold on. What's this? No maestro available. I double-checked to make sure it's not just a regional thing, but it's not offered in the states either. Didn't check Canadia, but that's beside the point - it says they're accepting maestro.

Since Maestro is somethingoranother that has to do with Mastercard, I decided to try it, but naturally, it just says that the credit card number is wrong. Which somewhat brings me to my next point; Issue Number. It's apparently a two-digit number - problem being that there's no such number anywhere on my card. There's the credit card number, lumped into strings of 4 numbers each. There's also the three-digit security number, which is close to another mysterious number on the card, which is 4-digit. But nothing two-digit that could possibly be the Issue Number. Not single-digit either, so don't even try.

So what gives? Is Maestro even offered like it says, or.. what? Am I left out in the cold here?

I have also Maestro card , and you can't use that card for most online payments. Most payments can be done with credit cards or Visa Debit . Maestro , been trying couple years back to use it for online payments but it can't be done.

Also for security reasons is bad to use debit card wich is may linked to your bank account.

And you should read what I said . Maestro can't be used for online payments .

My MaestroCard doesn't have also that code , that code have only credit cards . Trust me been trying this couple years back and didn't managed to pay anything with Maestro and then decided to switch to credit card for online payments.

Again, please read the original post. I am fully aware that Maestro is the suck, but it is clearly marked as an available option.

I have a similar prerogative!

I am trying to preorder a copy of dragon age 2 SIgnature edition (which is hard enough seeing as Im from Portugal and the stores accepting pre orders dont even have a shop here), and being the owner of a Maestro debit card, I have neither my issue number nor any number whatsoever printed on the back of the card. None. At all.

So, how am I gonna get my hands on this game?

It appears I was screwed around by bureaucracy, it seems.

Nha I have the same problem. Maestro is just for people who wants to get safe from the internet etc... It's comesi n handy, but not if you want to buy stuff on the internet. Find a friend with a good card for it, he buys it with his card and give him the money afterwards in cash. I do it always this way also if I want to buy a game via steam. (The strange is that Bioware shows off that they support Maestro, but they don't at all)
