I think that's her name. I missed her when I went to Lothering (got Sten, though) and now after getting the aid of the Dalish it says I cannot return to Lothering.

Is there another way to get her or is she gone for good? I understand she's one of the two rogues you can get, it'd be a shame to miss one.

P.S. While I'm here, I'm sort of wondering when Zevran will attack me. When will he?

Zevran will attack you when you try traveling somewhere else on the world map. He always does after you complete your first alliance quest; in this case acquiring the Dalish elves' aid. Unfortunately you can no longer recruit Leliana. She's gone for good.

Well it's better to miss a rogue then a healer, damn Wynne attacked me at the Circle of Magi, and now I have grumpy Morrigan as part-time healer, damage dealer. On the other side, I have both Leliana and Zevran, which is quite pointless.

I'll just pick up Leliana on my next playthrough, I just assumed she was quite good seeing as loads of people seem to be talking about her. And speak of the devil, Zevran attacked me right after I posted that topic, lol.

For whatever reason (brain fart/playing too late/whatever), I thought you were asking when Zevran would attack you *after* he joined your party. I'm thinking...so he really ain't to be trusted, eh?



But you meant when he finds you.... I think I need to get more sleep and play this game less.

imo zevran is quite useless not one skillpoint into lockpicking when i got im, and thats the only thing that makes me carry a rogue in my party

Really wish the game was designed to allow anyone to pick up lock-picking, because I hate how I'm forced to keep Leliana in the group (I opted to kill the elf to avoid negative approval from EVERYONE).

Strange. In my game I gained positive approval from Leliana by sparing Zevran's life.

Yeah same here, Leliana seems to like Zevran. I got a +2 heart from her. Everyone else wasn't pleased.

Considering the fact that Leliana believes in redemption, and that Zevran is a rogue like her (maybe not like her), then yes, she would like the idea of sparing him

Also, if you want to avoid losing approval you could put Dog in your group for that fight. With those 2 in the group, you now only risk losing approval with one person by sparing his life...

After having used Zevran a bit now that I have him, and having raised his approval a fair bit (+50 within the first half hour... due to certain dialogue choices, if you catch my drift) I've found him very, very useful. I've heard the contents of chests is mainly junk anyway, so I see no real loss in not being able to open them.

Try going through an area w/o a rogue, after you've cleared it out exit and reform your party with your locksmith specialist. Now go through and open all those chests. You pick up some loot, and there are quite a few Journal notes in those locked chests.
