Why hexagons?

Anyone else notice all the hexagonal patterns throughout ME2? It's kinda like a honeycomb. Everything from the texture of character's jackets to the harbinger control panel. Bioware into beekeeping?

I have noticed it as well. I think it may just be because of cerberous maybe?

Have you played Dragon Age 2? Literally everything in that game is at a 60-30 angle. Weapons, chairs, menus, statues, symbols, armor. EEEEEEEEEVERYTHING in that game plays off of hexagons. Mass Effect 2 has alot, but not as bad as DA2
