So I have a PS3 and I tried to download the BD armor and the stone prisoner dlc which were free with my new game. However, this did not work at all. I would get to the steps where I would have the type in my Ea account on my PS3 but the step after that? Nothing. There was no download tab nor was there any "instructions" so I could get my dlc's. If this keeps up I would like some of my money back. Why would I pay full price so I could get free dlc's that do not even work? I would much rather pay $40 rather than the full $65 to get pseudo-working dlc's. Dragon Age:Origins is a pretty old game now yet the prices in store is still $60 due to the free dlc's. The only secret is that they do not work. Great scam Ea.

I live and bought my game in the US, so that's my info.

For god's sake... give us PSN codes so we can use their non-broken ass store.

Preach it, brother.

I am having major problems with this, have followed all the wlakthrouhs and opened the relevant accounts plus entered my codes. I now have listed on this site that i should have access to shale and the armor, these do not appear in my game main menu for download though. Not only this but I got so fed up with it I went and payed $23 for the shale expansion in the PSN store, download it, install it and still the quest giver tells me i must download the content. I am super frustrated and would like some help. I tried downloading the feast day packs also which don't show up in game, I am on the verge of returning the game and making the biggest complaint of my life to EA and Bioware, never have i had so much trouble with a PS3 game or any other game for that matter.

I am in Australia with a copy of the game bought from a store in Australia and patched as I went online on the PS3.

So since I neither get access to my free DLC nor to my purchased DLC (Wardens keep and Gift pack) ist there at least a way to get my money or points back?

I am unable to download Shale or the Armor neither are showing up on my DLC tab. I have entered the codes they are showing on my account here. I have a PS3 Purchased in America and a Disc from America.

I don't know if it is related but I did purchase wardens keep before I started the game the first time and it is in and working fine.

Does DAO use the PSN e-mail automatically I thought I used a different E-mail in game than PSN. That may be part of the issue.

I don't think PS3 gets tab. The screenshot for the dlc download guide is a pic of a pc download.

I sent Victor Watcher - Bioware Community Facilitator a message about a week ago and have not received a response to my problem. My fix is i'm selling my game to Amazon for $30. I only paid $26 through EA store with a coupon code. I am going to ride it out until they come out with a game of the year edition with the DLC included. If it doesn't come out i guess it was a fun game for the week i played it. I will not recommend this game to anyone. This is so ridiculus that so many people are having issues. If my code doesn't work I should be compensated $15 so I can download the dlc from the PS store itself! Thanks for nothing EA / Bioware!

Confirmed that buying that combo pack works. Maybe just buying something works too but that is just maybe...

For those of you that had this work as a fix.... did you buy the combo pack from the TITLE menue or just playstation STORE?

I bought mine from the PSN Store. As soon as I booted the game back up, all my downloads appeared.

Just bought the game, I put in the code for shale, it then said contacting DA servers then nothing happened. Tryed the code again and it said invalid. Then i put in the code for the Blood Dragon Armor on this website and it said i got it but on the game nothing happened. It's really aggravating. There is no Download Progress tab and there is no Installed Content tab. Neither item is on the DLC list.

I am in the same boat as this member.  Put in my codes and no download or installed option under the Dowloadable Content.  I am at a loss of what to do.

It does show under my account here that i have both for the PS3 but i can't download them.

I just purchased the Feast day pack also and the Stone Prisoner and Dragon armor just showed up in the download content and is loading now! Still should have been an easier fix than having to purchase something to get the free content.

It's a shame that this doesn't work for so many people without having to buy $3 more of stuff. I refuse to spend more to get access to something that was promised to be included. Hopefully this will be fixed before the April 30th expiration date of the codes.

it better be fixed ASAP or EA/Bioware will have a lot of explaining to do

Yeah, that's bull**** if the solution to the problem of receiving our free dlc's (that we're entitled to) is coincidentally to buy something.

Well that does not help us here in the PS3 section.

Where is the response to this? What are you guys doing there at Bioware? Obviously several people are having the same issue all over the world and all we get is some sort of reasoning as to how it might be our fault. Please grow up and take accountability for the fact that you guys have messed something up, then do your jobs and fix it. If buying the feast day combo pack makes the content available then give us all three dollars for the playstation store so we can get our free content for free.

If something is advertised as free with game purchase it has to be free, making us buy some content that does not enhance the game whatsoever just to get our "free" material is not only shady but it is illegal.

I would recommend that somebody handle this situation with haste, also make a high ranking member of your company aware of this immediately. I would also advise that you get your legal department involved before people start to realize that what you are doing is false advertisement in the form of a bait and switch. You can call it a bug all you want but the fact is that the company as a whole is telling prospective customers that with purchase of said item they will receive free content. So we purchase said item only to find out that we have to purchase another item for said free content, whether this was intentional or not does not change the fact that the company is held legally accountable for their products as well as their statements.

This to me seems a bit extreme. I would really like my content and realize that it could take time, and am more than willing to wait. Just more curious as to how and when i can give the content a try. Keep on trying EA/BIOWARE.

I disagree, I'm not saying we should sue EA/Bioware but something must be done. This is blatant false advertising and the fact that the only known solution for solving this dlc problem for the PS3 is (by pure coincidence) buying something else is just going too far. Sure this may be a "bug" but when has buying another dlc ever fixed a bug? And why has a whole host of people been experiencing this problem with pretty much no response from EA/Bioware whatsoever? The fact that there is a time limit (April 30th) to buy a dlc to fix this problem before we lose the dlc's we are entitled to is just too much evidence to think that this problem indeed what EA/Bioware says it is. This is basically "introducing the problem and giving the solution" an age old form of conning. Giving a time limit before we lose our dlc's just gives us incentive to act without fully waiting out for the problem to fix itself. So although waiting may be good, one has to wonder if we'll even receive our free dlc's even if we still don't have by April 30th.

Hello there, I am not sure if this was the issue that you guys fixed, but here is what I am experiencing:

I recently purchased this game and had a DLC code inside for The Stone Prisoner. I almost immediately downloaded it and had a blast beating the game with the lovely Shale.

I have now created a new character and the village of Honneleath and the Shale DLC is no where to be found on my new character. I recently also downloaded Warden's Keep and that shows up for my new character however.

I am wondering why the Stone Prisoner doesn't show up on my map, among my quests or even under the Premium Content in the Journal.

Help would be appreciated, thanks.

EDIT:
Nevermind, I am a jack@ss; I accidently disabled it >_>
It works fine now; currently on my way to collect her :)

sent EA tech support an email, shall see if they have anything worth saying for this.
