I made a cave level, I start the level ingame to test it out, and the sun can be seen where a dead end should be seen. Any reason why this is happening?
The sun is being weird!

I can think of a few possibilities. One might have to do with the visibility graph, If the room that your dead end piece belongs to is not designated as visible to your current room, you will sometimes see the sky through the open door until you run through it, though in your case it's a dead end, so you might not be able to test that. Click the Room Properties button to the right of the area layout name at the top to open up the visibility chart.
You might also want to set the level's atmosphere properties to a black background. I do this to hide some of the seams that show up from time to time in the pieces. You can cover the big seams up with columns and rocks, but you'll never catch all the other ones. They're harder to notice if white sunlight isn't peeking through them.
