Ok - I'm well aware of the other posts concerning this problem, but not many are aware that its effecting the DLC as well.
Using Windows Vista 64bit - 6 gig Ram - Nvidia Geforce GTX 285

After installing the 1.01a patch from this website the game launcher stopped working, clicking on play did nothing.  After reading several posts from alot of forum users I applied the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 redistributable package (x86) to enable the game to launch, this worked for me.

However now the game launched I cannot install any of the content that was in the CE edition or the stuff I paid for (wardens keep), the downloader is showing a red 'required version 1.0' in the discription screen.  It will download the content - get to 100% and do nothing.  After following the advice from the sticky and with one hell of a lot of work (5 installs) I finally got the content into the 'installed' category, although the dragon armour is just displaying a grey box in the discription.

The problem for me now is that its not showing any of the content in game - I'm kinda at my wits end with this and I'm forced to concede defeat and go back to ver 1.0 which worked fine out of the box.
PLEASE guys take your time with patches so that they work properly, I know some people have not had any problems and frankly I envy them, because this has been hell for me.

I totally agree. I am reinstalling now and going back with 1.0 until a more stable patch comes out.
