(sorry, my english may be rusty)
1.
Infiltrator : it fits to my playstyle, sniping is always satisfying. Incinerate helps for all crowd control. This is not the best class in the game, but I like it above any other. I usually don't use heavy weapons with my Infiltrator (powerful by himself), except the Avalanche. I don't use any bonus power either after getting the Widow.
2.
Engineer : Mainly because I took the sniper in the Collector ship... In fact, it was like playing as an Infiltrator without being overpowered (the slowdown, the bonus from the cloak and the Widow...). Plus, I like Cryo Blast (I wanted Cryo Blast instead of Incinerate for my overpowered Infiltrator). I use the Drone mainly to shock someone out of cover and kill him with some Viper shots. I enjoyed my engineers this way, as tech-focused Infiltrators, using the drones to distract enemies while I am cooking a shot in the back of their head. I mainly use the Missile Launcher as the HW, and give some points in AP Ammo for my Viper to help.
3.
Vanguard : Well.., as a sniper, I don't rely much on shotguns. With this class, Bioware found what is the equivalent of a sniper's headshots for shotgunners. I had problems taking enemies out of cover or killing them when unable to use Charge. Very frustrating for someone accustomed to be a sniper. Anyway, I have to admit Vanguard is the best class of the game in terms of fun. It's not flawless though : you will accidentaly miss some part of the fights charging to the end of a section, and you will not use anything but ammo types and Charge, except maybe Pull sometimes (but you have to give away some point in Shockwave...). With the reload/melee trick, it's really like using a sword to me.
This is the only class making me smile when I die.
Vanguard is on the third position only because I think you can't really use a Vanguard without Charge and shotguns : you can't turn off the beast. I don't know how to explain that... Vanguard seems a "narrow" or "closed" class to me. You can not adapt the class to yourself (it's irrelevant to use anything but shotgun, since you don't have to care about distances).
I gave my Vanguard Reave as a bonus power and the grenade launcher to deal with enemies I can't reach with Charge.
For the next two classes, I have to admit I hadn't figured out yet how to use them correctly, in a convincing way. Don't get me wrong. For now, these classes seemed as interesting as messy to me.
4.
Adept : I appreciate this class for one reason : you have to rely on your squadmates' powers to make combos. It forces you to be a little bit tactical, definitely more than an Engineer. I don't think I have used every possibilities given by the Adept yet. I really don't know why, but I don't like this class much, maybe because I'm not fully satisfied with Singularity !
5.
Sentinel : I like the shiny armor, the visual and sound effects it made when you lose it, stunning your opponents ! The only thing lacking in this class might be some kind of a squad bonus (may be like the bonus gave by Miranda's passive). I am ready to give my bonus weapon obtained in the Collector ship for another skill that can make my firepower obsolete but my squad's firepower deadly (with a counterpart... maybe a power used on a enemy to draw any bullet shot in the room to him in the next 3 seconds / two effects : the enemy dies receiving those bullets or he begs his pals not to shoot in a short time - it would be like a "reverse" Dominate !).
This class could have been great with a shotgun if you had Pull, and sniping is really hard with it because you have no power to stun or slow people except Cryo. If you weren't bold enough to take one of these (like me !), you took the Assault Rifle.
So you ended with a weapon made to handle any situation (short / long distance), with a build made to handle any situation (debuffing any defense types with Warp, Overload). That, plus the Armor that makes you immortal. I personnaly foundthis boring

And I can't deal with a class that encourages me to lose my shield ! (the Vanguard had perfect counterparts for his boldness)
6.
Soldier : not much to say. With this class, I had the feeling I can deal with anything by myself, only with firepower, excluding my other squadmates and the true essence of the game. You have to switch between ammo types and weapons, and it's awkward without proper key bindings...
I can be wrong though, because Soldier is the first class I took.
