I dunno, could have just been imagining it. Maybe it's cause one mod uses meshes while the other changes the dalish model? Shrug.tmp7704 wrote...
That's weird; the way the game works it shouldn't stack really but use shape from one of the mods while ignoring the other. It's possible that appearance you speak of was actually result of the mod you disabled, and when you did disable it you got to see the appearance from the other mod. You might want to switch which of the mods you have enabled, to see if it goes back to that 'machette' look. (since the fix i did uses the base nude model as guideline that's pretty apt description for the resulting shapeZottle wrote...
Btw if you install both at once, they uh.. seem to "stack". The dalish armour looked like someone took a machette to my back until I disabled one of the mods.

Well, it works like this...Zottle wrote...

the improved light armour mod replaces the light armour mesh which is by default used by all light armour wear. Using that mod alone should give a decent curve to the back for all armour types, Dalish included.
the Dalish fix does something bit different, it tells the game to use specific, provided mesh for the Dalish armour instead of the universal one. The way it is done actually allows these two mods to co-exist in a way -- having both installed should give the improved model for all other armour types and the 'fixed' model for the Dalish. But since the 'fixed' model appearance can be quite severe, it's possible to skip this mod and have just the 'improved' mod which should give reasonable effect for all models if installed alone.

My understanding is that the mod you recommended only fixes light armor and robes for ELVES (gives them perkiness front and back lol), while yours fixes only the Dalish armor but for all races.
So now that I combined the 2 mods, an elf in Dalish would look different from Leliana in Dalish, but both look better than the vanilla Dalish body.

Heh there's sort of an outbreak of these mods at the moment, let's see if i can make some sense out of them:
* http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=934 the Improved Light Armour, it replaces all light armour models, has one set for the elves and two sets for humans. The variants have different bust sizes.
* http://www.dragonage...file.php?id=545 Curvaceous Attire mod. Replaces the light armour models for humans and elves, with regular or enlarged bust sizes. Also has an option of apprentice robes for elves with larger breasts.
* http://social.biowar...m/project/2240/ the Dalish armour fix. It overrides only the Dalish armour, for all races. Leaves the character cup size intact, uses body lines of default character models.
* http://social.biowar...m/project/2380/ the smaller bust elf wear. Affects all types of armour from robes to heavy, gives the characters smaller cup size and the body lines following the Realistic Look mod.
* http://social.biowar...m/project/2431/ like the smaller bust elf wear, but for the humans.
