Morrigan delivers her demon-love-child.
That makes 2 new origins for DA:2
Which means it will be the 2nd generation that moves the story along.

A very interesting idea.Sybarit wrote...
I´m just speculating here, however I think that Alistair is going to drop Queen Anora and do the "deed" with Empress of Orlais (those letters in RtO to King Callian).

And if we don't get Alistair.... his son maybe?
And if we don't get that... at least a lot of references.

I just want him back because he's my brother at arms. Together, back to back against the Darkspawn.

Except that makes no sense. I've said this argument with Cailan/Celene but it goes with Alistair/Celene as well.
A Ferelden king would NOT have an heir with a Orlesian Empress if he want to remain king of his realm. If they married, Ferelden would become part of Orlais. Not to mention the citizens would revolt and it would cause a civil war.
Not to mention Alistair can also marry the Noble Female and that would really suck.
"BTW, your husband annuled your marriage and is marrying a woman who will tear his country apart. And Leliana and Zevran died from a terrible disease that only kills rogues. Welp, here's your game!"
EDIT: SIGNED!

"A Ferelden king would NOT have an heir with a Orlesian Empress if he want to remain king of his realm. If they married, Ferelden would become part of Orlais. Not to mention the citizens would revolt and it would cause a civil war."
Read about a consort, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Consort
There is no rule that a King would have to submit his Kingdom to the Empire.
2nd, no Empress would share her power with a husband, since it would propably in this instance raise a lot of problems. Thats my consort theory.
NF isnt really an option here, since I´m guessing the game story IS that Alistair marries Anora if he marries at all.
On the other hand. Civil war could really open up the game. Orlais nobles want to kick out the Empress consort. Murder, in comes the Antivan Crows. Hehe
I´m just speculating
This is fun, keep the ideas coming and rebutals please.

Ok, please don't misunderstand me when I say this. I enjoy discussing this kind of stuff.
But there is NO WAY that Celene would become a consort. And Alistair wouldn't because there would be no point. Why would a king become a consort when he's already a king? I could see him becoming consort if he was in love with her, but he isn't, and I don't really think they are going to just have him suddenly dump Anora or FHN to marry some empress from Orlais, a empire that controlled his country for nearly a century. Not to mention to Nobles in the Bannorn would probably kill Alistair themselves before they let him marry her.
So I think that if we are ever controlling someone that isn't the Warden, they will be so far into the future that it won't matter, or it will be in Antiva or Orlais, where who marries the king won't matter.

I thought it was over after Awakening.
Well, we're not sure what they are doing next, but Awakening came with a date in it that some are speculating that it is either the sequal or another expansion.

Bring back anyone BUT Allistair and Wynne, please. Really, the only male that I think worth writing into the story again would be Nathaniel.

Allistair is whiny and annoying. I'm a bit surprised at all the lady love.
RE: Kaidan
These companions often labeled as whiny and annoying are written especially for women, or at least the type to appreciate a man with his own mind and in touch with himself (no no not that way..
It's no surprise at all.
And I've signed
As an aside I adore Wynne and despise Loghain, so there's another clue as to why some people might love certain companions and others won't. It's a lot to do with your own experiences.

Yeah... the type of woman that finds Allistair to be an example of a man with his own mind and in touch with himself has serious daddy issues.
Similarly, Lelianna and Morrigan were written for men who needed better moms. Seriously. Lelianna is a girl and Allistair is a boy. I want a woman and ladies should want a man.

Allistair is whiny and annoying. I'm a bit surprised at all the lady love. My gf romanced him because he was the best looking male, but even she thought he was a little sissy. He abandons the Grey Wardens in their time of need to spend his life as a drunkard when you try to show a mentally unstable man mercy and thinks talking in slow lofty tones makes him sound more "kingly."

The topic of this post is not to discuss whether or not you like Alistair. If you don't like him, go comment on something else, somwhere else. This is simply for those who ARE interested in signing a petition to keep him in future games. This is not about whether or not you think someone else should be brought back; stay on topic.
