I cant seem to collect any research. I right click as advised by the on screen prompts but nothing happens. There is no change in the progress bar or in the highlighting of the site. Everything else appears to be working all right.

6 gb ram
ati hd 5850 1gb

You need to hover the Hammerhead directly over the "circle" and hold down right mouse button til the progress bar fills up.

Didn't work. I remapped the right button to the number pad + key but no help.

V key did it. Holding it down instead of right mouse key worked. I remapped it to the number pad + key where I control most of the game from.
