Hey ppl, i bought (i pre-ordered it, but now i can play it) the Dragon Age Origins digital deluxe edition and i have all the DLC's, but there's a problem
I opened an account, had my DLC's with my codes and started to download them. It was first downloading it, it became %100 immediatly, and then it started extracting it. After a while, there was writing "Install Failed". It happens in "ALL" dlc's, not just one. I cleared the download cache, and tried it 15-20 times in all DLC's but it never downloaded them. All the time it said "Install Failed"
Can somebody help me ?

I think the solution is to go to the Downloadable Content section of the main game screen, rather than try to resolve the issue from the journal. It automatically restarted my downloads once I went to the main screen's DLC section.

i tried both of the things, first i tried from main menu, then from journal, both didnt work (can somebody explain me why bioware made the dlc's download different from the main game's download ? it is a first day dlc !!)

I get the install failed error as well, and in the description for the DLC, the part where is says version 1.0 required is in red. Is it maybe because of the patch?

i dont think that it downloads the dlc, it suddenly becomes %100

Same here, just a note, It's not a Steam thing, I got mine Collectors edition from the store. I was able to Download The Stone Prisoner and The Blood Dragon Armor. Today, when I tried wardens keep, It comes up with the same "Install fail" and the version is highlighted red also. WTF?

I have the same problem too. But I didn't download any patch to the game; it must be the 1.0 version, must not it?

i have the same issue. i bought the game as dvd from the store. i have two DLC from right out of the box and three others from dragon age journeys achievements. all five of them failed to install. game version cant be the issue though, cuz i havent patched the game yet... quite annoying really.

Basically, you have to switch your region to US English and then do a manual install on DLC. Here's a detailed solution I wrote on Steam forums.
