has anyone ever had this problem? I have a 1000 watt silverstone PSU in my computer that has the tendency to make a noisy rattle.
One solution would be to get a pair of headphones which would prevent me from hearing the rattling but I would hate to neglect my decent speaker system. Plus if there is a more serious porblem with my PSU, I don't want to ignore it.
I've been told not to touch the PSU. I assume this is an issue with the fan do does anyone know if it's possible to go to the bios setting and change the speed of the fan? I was thinking maybe increasing the speed would stop the rattling.
Or is there a place where I could possibly just add a little oil to grease it up?
PSU rattling problems.

make sure it is the PSU, I had the same problem and thought it was my PSU but after investigation I found it was a MB fan that was hitting a wire
check no wires are hitting the fan blades
If it's under warranty get a replacement
