I know, its not like we've ever done anything like that.

Anyway, I'm not totally sympathetic to the Quarians in terms of the whole Geth uprising since I think they did a freaking lot of that to themselves. But we're not dealing with those Quarians anymore. There is a movement starting to rise within the Floatilla that is seeking an end to that conflict.

I will agree that the game developers are ridiculously unfair to the quarians, giving them the greater share of failures to stroke shepard's ego. Pisses me off.

See, you hit the nail on the head. This is why I can;t respect the Quarians. They are constantly portrayed throughout the game as weak in order to create situations in which Shepard can be the hero. And while other races are subject to this as well, they are involved in many other places in the game so it doesn't give the impression that they are all weak and pathetic. We often observe these species being productive members of society. The Quarians in comparison are always being oppressed or are isolated. Even when you visit their own home its just to see them divide themselves over political issues. We don't ever see them produce anything of value. I mean, if the Quarians are so great with tech why do we never use technology manufactured by them? Why don't their merc bands ever hire young, naive Quarians to do their tech work for them? I haven't seen a single piece of impressive Quarian technology.

Hopefully this will change in Mass Effect 3. I really don't want to hate the Quarians, but at this point it's just easy to write them off as a weak, incompetent species.

The difference between you and me is that I can find good things in them even in their oppressed state. I respect them because they are still alive despite the galaxy's best efforts.

I guess my problem is that I just can't see these good things at any point in the game. Oh well, I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree. At least we can understand each other's veiwpoint.

The quarians made a awesome job protecting their fleet but I don't recall reading any major attack on it.

As I said, the Flottila can make a good job agains pirates and other threats like that, however, agains a more powerful enemy I really can't see them possible winning.

Hundreds of well armed and well crewed ships, that is all
Read the codex if you don't believe me

.
I read the codex, but you are just hiding behind numbers. The truly military strengh of the Migrant fleet is if I recall correctly much, much smaller than the total size of the Flotilla.

Depends on the species
Killing Krogan fine *cough*Salarians*cough*
But how dare they try and kill the geth!!!!

Hey I feel sorry for the Krogans, but not for the Quarians. It was there own fault. Also it was not genocide what the Salarians did. The Genophage as much as I hate to say it was the best thing to do at the time.

Pity the movement is lead by Zaal'Korris the wanker
Why does the good Admiral have to have the wrong ideas and the wanker Admiral have to have the good and right ideas?

It says armed ships. For what reason wouldn't you want armed ships on your side? Please try and help me explain why you would turn away willing reinforcements?

He sees too much Orlesian influence among the Geth.

Quarians saw trying to remove the geth as the best thing to do at the time as well. But that is the past, they paid for their mistakes.

Han'Gerrel is still a much cooler guy than Zaal'Korris

I always found it odd that she sends that email regardless of what you do at the trial. She herself said it was going to be nearly impossible to continue Rael's work because of what I did, yet I got the same email with her gloating about finding the research.

He was also a nicer person
I get the feeling he can be convinced to change view points
Xen, not so much

Gerrel will not do a loghain and abandon us in our time of need, and I'm not sleeping with Xen to stop the reapers (on second thought...)

Probably by abandoning the Admiralty board during battle.

I've never turned the evidence in. I thought she only sent you that email if you kept the research secret. It kind of annoys me that I can reveal the truth to Han Gerel but when I try to talk to Xen I get blocked by Tali. She earned a black-mark on her record for that one.

There is no problem, just the fact that the Flotilla would be no match for a truly military fleet. Or you think otherwise? I can't see a reason to do so. Fleets from other races should be bigger than the military part of the Migrant fleet, also more advanced and with more powerful weapons. The civilians ships wouldn't be able to stand fire from a dreadnought...
.
I think the flotilla would be like Carthage in it's final siege by the romans. All people willing to fight, because if they lose it's the end of everything, however, it woundn't matter, as I didn't for carthage.

He says it was a good idea Sheard did not show it because it would have destoryed the ideas for the Geth war.
