Come to think of it ... there might be some errr 'complications' with the YMIR mechs, and the Thresher (if you want to kill it in time), and charging Harbinger/Krogan. Heh
But if its doable, then heck, salute! lol

Hm, I don't remember there being any problematic points on Therum except the Armature and Krogan boss fights, and both of those are autosave points.
Only challenges I set for myself are to always play on Insanity when it's available, restrict bonus powers to what makes sense for the class rather than what gives most advantage, and try to play more aggressively and tactically.
Oh, and to go against the norm with my characters. My Infiltrator and Sentinel are aggressive close-quarters types with shotguns. My Vanguard will be mostly using the Vindicator rather than a shotgun and Destroyer rather than Champion. My Engineer, I'm thinking of focusing on Dominate, AI Hack and Drone and firing as few bullets as I can get away with. Haven't figured out what to do with an Adept or Soldier run.

You can hide and cast vs every YMIR mech, you don't have to kill the Thresher maw, singularity can hold harbinger back (but it's still tricky), and krogans .. you don't have to fight them up close, right?
Well, maybe during the final encounter of grunt's recruitment .. by mordin's loyalty you can .. err .. bring zaeed with heavy grenades and a highly upgraded sniper rifle.
