I got the game playing fine up until a couple of days ago. Mouse stopped working in-game, so when I move it around, it doesn't change the perspective of the character. LMB and RMB work fine however, so I can shoot etc, just in a straight, fixed direction. In menus, the problem is reversed: I can move the cursor around fine, but I can't actually click any of the menu buttons and have to use the keyboard to navigate. Obviously this makes the game utterly unplayable!
I'm playing off a laptop and it's comfortably within spec. Prior to this problem, the game was working fine. Neither the touchpad nor the usb mouse work. Hardware mouse option doesn't work either, nor does changing any of the input/graphics config. I have the steam version, so I've tried to validate, reinstall, even cleaned the registry to reinstall again etc, but the problem is still there. Drivers for everything conceivable are up to date.
Any ideas would be gratefully received! I have the sinking feeling a re-format is in order. FUUUUUUUUUU -
