Just go from system to system in the Cluster and inspect each planet. One of them has the "land" option. That's the one where the rescue Liara mission starts.
PS: Important planets usually have pictures attached to the description screen. Those are usually planets where you can land and do main quests or side quests.

ME1 can be trying to learn the first play through. Once you get all the basics you will be good to go.
There are some great maps for the planets you can land on all over the internet. It will save you a lot of time to use maps for the planets that have side quests on them. The main mission maps are pretty linear.

The planet is called Therum, and is in the Kronsos star system. You can also look at the star systems in the Jorunal by pressing start, if your on X-box 360.

As it's been mentioned, don't take your first playthrough seriously. Just learn from it. This way you will do much better in later playthrough's. Also, Google the Mass Effect Wiki. You will find it of great helpful.

There are some other landable planets in the Artemis Tau cluster. If it is landable, it will have some sort of quest on it, most systems, have at least one landable object, not always a planet.

Of the four systems in Artemis Tau, three have a landable planet (and therefore a quest). The remaining system is the Athens system; it's got a good number of planets, but none of them are landable. There are all scanable, though.
Athens is typically the first system I travel to after I leave the Citadel for the first time and gain control of the Normandy. From there, I go to Liara's planet.
