More people say bad than they good. Thus it IS as bad as they say, you can't argue with majority.

The pot calling the kettle black?
I don't get that one.
I believe the statement is referring to when Haexapane said:
"The haters are simply E RAGING asstards who name call and spam."
Which is in essence simply insulting the people that the poster says post insulting comments.
Saying that the pot is calling the kettle black is an old saying made used in a situation where one believes somebody is making a hypocritical statement. i.e. The pot is making a statement about the kettle (that it is black) when the pot itself is in fact black as well.

I didn't say it was a bad thing. But there is a difference between the majority of the threads in the DA:O and ME2 forums that are about the negative aspects of DA:O/ME2 and them being constructive critisism that benifits the community on a whole for a game.Petsura wrote...
People wouldn't "whine" so much if they didn't care about the game, but they obviously do and that's why they try to appeal to BioWare with complaints about the gameplay, balance, bugs, etc. which actually helps improving the game for you and everyone else if the devs listen to them.mrfoo1 wrote...
Whiners are always the loudest. The reason is people who are happy with a product tend to see no need to be loud.
They have the courage to tell what's wrong with the product instead of chocking everything down like pigs and begging for more afterwards.
And at some point it just becomes redundant seeing "omg the game is so buggy/crahses all the time and no one is ever going to buy another Bioware product because a patch hasn't been released in 14 minutes of my purchase and the game and DLC needs to be free and while we're at it add more of X because I didn't like Y and im not giving any explinations and why isn't Y longer and why isn't the game meeting my unrealistic expectations and Bioware devs must be stupid (which has actually been said on these forums) because there are all these bugs and blah blah ****ing blah".
Construcitve feedback and critisism=/= whining. Whining=whining.

Overall people said it was a lazy buggy piece of crap- so unless we are talking aobut someone that likes it, and ntoh the general aspect....it sucks. xDEli-da-Mage wrote...

Your argument sounded reasonable and i wouldn't label you as a "whiner". Those that insult others who liked the game and argue against everything they say are.
Does the opposite hold true though? Those that mindlessly defend the title and insult those that do not, would you say that they are "fanboys"?
I don't "mindlessly defend" anything, thanks for the insult tho

In a thread someone posted Bioware should hand over all their first born children to make amends for the bugs and had completely stupid reasons that were simply opinion like " i want dog cos Oghren is bad".
An example of feedback was a thread were someone named all of what they decided were pros and cons with good reasons. He also said that hed prefer dog over Oghren but many people actually like Oghren and you can't always please everyone.

Reminds me of Kobe Bryant fans who claim he is flawless and the best basketball player ever despite the fact the statistics do not reflect the claim, and if you don't agree, you are a hater.
Wrong, DAO fans do not call it flawless. I am well aware of the bugs. I am a realist, and I understand there are bugs in ALL SOFTWARE.
The haters are simply E RAGING asstards who name call and spam. They believe any bug of any kind means they should get a full refund. Good luck with that.
and what are you doing? I read your posts and you are one who name calls often - talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
Did I call you a name? How about anyone else in this thread? Notice a difference.

No offense and i generally side with the Awakening supporters but on the last few posts you are just throwing back insults which really doesn't do you any good either.

so E Raging asstards is not name calling? I never said you called me a name but you do name call an awful lot in this forum.
DId I call YOU a name? The answer is no. Who did I name call in this thread? Nobody.
The E Raging ass tards make themselves known. They are the ones who call bioware "lazy" or "Stupid" or "idiots" if that is not you, which it does not appear to be, you have not been 'name called'.<3

However if you want to prove a point it'd probablly be met with less oposition if you done it in a more sophisticated way rather than calling these people E Raging asstards.

I will repeat, since it seems to not be sinking in, I never said you called me a name but you do insult and name call a lot in this forum. You are not calling anyone specifically because you would be thrown out.
You are accusing me of namecalling, in a thread when I haven't called anyone names, and then say I do it all the time... where? When?
It's not a fair statement. Calling "haters" .."asstards" is hardly name calling. As "haters" is already a name/label for a behaviour, but a super generic one.
Lets look at it logically, I bet you would agree that "haters" are "eraging asstards" would you not?

As long as these expressions have good reasons and are not just random acts of hate or blind support i agree. This is the entire point of forum.DianeLyn56 wrote...
No I wouldn't. I don't call people names, I read these threads to get everyone's opinion not just one's I want to hear. If people like the game I want to hear why, if they dislike the game I also want to know why. There is no reason to insult people, everyone has an opinion and should be allowed to express it.

Why does it have to be split like this? So black and white? It seems like people who love Awakening and say so are derided as "fanboys" while those that either did not like the game or complain about the multitude of bugs are labeled as "whiners" or "haters"?
...
WAIT...I thought this thread was about DA:O, not politics in the US (especially in Congress.) The parallels are amazing.
