i would suggest being very careful about buying anything electronic from a flea market, whether it's video games, movies, music, tvs, computers, etc. there's nowhere to go when you're screwed. i would only buy electronic type stuff from a flea market if it was from an actual business that sells at a flea market as well. those are a limited number and usually only sell at the really big flea markets. at least then you could go to their store to exchange. take it as an unfortunate lesson learned since flea markets are basically a place to buy as is stuff on the cheap.

He wouldn't refund you? The guy is a jerk and a scam artist. Maybe hang around his stall and warn people all day about how he rips people off.

while i agree with you in principle, really i do, the fact of the matter is many people selling at flea markets have no idea about the ins and outs of a lot of the things they're selling. it's very likely the guy never played the game before and has no idea about activation codes for dao. when someone comes up and says i have no code, the guy's not gonna give him the money back. flea markets are as is. verify right there with the seller that your item works and has everything before leaving. once you leave there's not much you can do.

You're a great fan. Respect to you friend. I myself would go to see this guy and possibly kill him... badly... but that would complicate things slightly... or perhaps, buy a hitman... at least you get the satisfaction of... ok I shut up!
