So i heard about the glitch involving vigilance and the sentinel armor. I have also read that disabling the wardens keep dlc fixes the problem, but you cannot continue a save without it. However my question is what would happen if i uninstalled the wardens keep dlc then imported my character into Awakening; would this bypass the error?

has anyone tried this? Please let me know.

how exactly do I deinstall the dlc on console anyways ? I'd try if ya tell me how

To uninstall I think you have to go to the memory section of settings. Then you scroll through the game data list until you see dragon age on the list. Inside there it should have another list, find wardens keep then select it and hit delete from hdd. I don't know if that's how you do it for this game but that's how it works for most games

Yep to delete is the only way !! but if you do it will not let you load any save from awakening or Origins! that has items from the the DLC that is now gone!

So it won't let me import a character with dlc or reload a save that has dlc if the dlc is not present so basically I have to start a new character without the dlc or wait for a patch that will probably never come

Actually if you begin a character in Origins without the Warden s keep DLC you ll be able to import him on the awakenings expansion.I worked for me anyway

dont you have to beat origins with that character to get to awakening?

well yea you could restart the Game over from the start with no DLC get all the cool items then upload it to Awakening! and you do not have to beat Origins to start Awakening! if you import a low level to Awakening it will start you off at level 18 !

my theory worked! all you have to do is import a character after you delete wardens keep it doesnt matter whether or not you had it in your last game

Sadly, there hasn't really been a substantive patch since DA:O was launched over four months ago, so you might be in for a long wait. As much as I like BioWare, DA:O has been a bit of a mess for a game with an alleged multi-year timeline for DLC.

I may have found a  temporary fix for this bug until the patch! It appears that importing a character without the DLC works just fine i uninstalled wardens keep then imported my character that had played through wardens keep into awakening and it worked just fine. the only things missing were the items that normally would have been missing such as blood dragon and the wardens keep items even the abilities from wardens keep!

it was an old character who had played through the wardens keep DLC i did not get any error messages upon importing him. the abilities from wardens keep were no longer in his ability screen and the one i had hot keyed to my y button (dark sustenance) had been replaced by an empty slot.

that s weird because i tried the same thing but it doesnt let import my character from origins...... i wonder how you pull that one up

It wokr for me! I moved The DLC over to a 512mb card then inported and it worked fine! i have yet to get the items to see if they have the right look! but we will see!

but HOW do I delete or disable the DLC on ps3 ?? that's all I wanna know

I have no idea if it will work for PS3 you can try .. if it dose not work .. all you would have to do is redownload the DLC for the saves to work again! Does PS3 have mem cards?

maybe it only works if you dont have any items from wardens keep in your inventory except the abilities.

OK well it works great !! i have the times and they look perfect!! You are the man !!   and it does not matter what you have From the other DLC it acts like you never had it anyways !! so moving or deleting the DLC ! will work !
