Basically, the galaxy map is telling me to go to this system, planet, etc., to complete mission "Firewalker: Recover Research Data," but when I actually get to the planet, there is no anomaly present halting the need to land on the planet to complete the mission."

Any suggestions?

(I've already completed 2 other Firewalker missions if that helps any...)

I've already completed that mission, and the whole firewalker pack. I do remember that the final mission opened up hen I finished two of the middle three missions, though i don't remember if that mission you refer to is one that I had finished. basically you have the single mission, which when complete gives you the hammerhead...you obviously finished that one. This gives you the three unlocked missions, one or two of which you finished. Don't know if you meant the Hammerhead acquisition mission was one of the two you completed. Anyway, if there is another mission you can do for firewalker, do it. It should unlock the protheon relic site which is the best of all of three. You fight geth missile platforms and take down a kinetic barrier. Yeah, the crazy geth erect it with the generators outside the barrier. LOL. Anyway, finishing it gives you a relic that shrinks and you will then find on the coffee table in the captain's cabin. OK, that's that. As to the glitch you are having, the only thing I can think of is that it is a glitch, and you may have to reinstall your game to get it fixed. If that doesn't fix it, then you will need to get Bioware to help you directly.

Shouldn't be a problem if you finish the game and then reinstall. I imagine you will be able to save the saved games.
